One minor comment if I may: It's a good idea to ask your belayer to take slack before removing your PAS/lanyard. That way you make sure everything's nice and safe and also makes it easier to remove the PAS since it's not loaded.

Thank you for making a point of damage caused by weighted lowering on the permanent hardware. Even though last lowering is weighted, this still will cut down 80%-90% of the damage that could be caused. This is still technique is perfect for the inexperienced follower. Thank you!
