All i can think about is there are 6 dining chairs for 8 people and what a fight it would be if this was a real family. Who were the 2 who always had to drag the homework chairs over and squeeze in? Which two eventually gave up and stopped eating at the table at all? I'm from a big family so I see all the potential fights and family dynamics this home would cause if it were real lol

My dad would paint my nails. He did model cars so would paint pin stripes or flames or flowers. I loved your hair story. My mom did my hair, me on the floor and she on the couch.

My dad also did my hair a lot, especially after my mom got sick, he'd do it in the living room, I'd sit on the floor between his legs while he'd do my hair I'd eat breakfast and watch cartoons before school

My dad also did my hair as a kid! He was a stay at home dad for a few years so he would be the one to help me and my brother get ready for school. He would tend to also brush my hair in the kitchen (maybe it’s bc he could do it while we were eating? Or in case someone needed the bathroom as we only had the one). He would put my hair in all these cute styles like pony tails, pig tails, braids, French braids. My favourite memory from this moment would have to be when my dog would get jealous of the attention I got to we started brushing her after me if we had time and she loved it. This period in my life is probably one of my favourites and I remember feeling very secure. Anyways I don’t talk to my dad as much anymore as he moved far away after my parents divorced but I still hold these memories close to my heart.

When I was little I used to share a room with my mom and I think that is why I am so clingy with her and love her so much. So many cuddles after nightmares.

My dad was also a biker and he worked as a merchant marine. He was like some kind of pirate to my eyes when I was a child. He never did my hair but he told the best stories I have ever heard in my life. The funniest, the saddest, the weirdest, the most interesting ones. His entire existence was a crazy adventure. I lost him ten mounths ago and the way I miss him is insane. But I talk with him every single day as if he's alive, and most of the times I find myself laughing histerically while remembering something about him 😅 Sorry for the nostalgic moment and just let me say I looooove all the things you do!! ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing!

The only reason I add an umbrella to my builds is to make sims put them away. I find the bugs with umbrellas so frustrating (Mostly that sims can't do some things but don't tell you they're stuck so they just... sit there. As if they can't put the dang umbrella away!) but I'm also from Seattle, where we mostly just Stoically Deal with the rain.
