@@harmony8623 American homes tend to be less opened plan and more suburban like homes and they use dry walls, whether Australian homes uses brick there’s a little detail there. Also British homes are not that similar…it also depends where you live as well like beach houses in australia look nothing like American and British homes

​​​​​@@rosevella8443Literally every house I've lived in has had drywall internally, even if there's brick externally. Never had brick for internal walls, tbh I've never found any real differences when using builds by UK and US Simmers and I've lived in Queensland. Never set foot in a Queenslander and I don't know anyone who has. They're kinda high-end price-wise and tend to attract people who can afford them. Not really somewhere a single mother nor a young family is gonna be able to afford.

@@mockingjay478 that’s strange because I’ve been to Melbourne, Sydney, brisbane and I live in Perth and all my family members have only had house under bricks unless it’s an extremely old house 🤷🏻‍♀️ There is definitely a difference in UK AND US housing even if you search it up for example you get much more land and cheaper in the US due to cheaper wages. I have definitely notice that sims US build is different and you don’t really see any hengford on bagely buildings in Australia. Like I’ve said this is for a young family preparing for a baby no context.

You always make fantastic and cozy builds, but this one for some reason just hits different. It's PERFECT, I love it so much, it actually made me want to play the sims again :3 It also looks very realistic, can definitely spot something similar on the beaches where I live :>

I have to come and comment again. But, I see this as like a hallmark movie type of thing where the sims were childhood sweethearts, the boyfriend wanted to pursue his love of music/songwriting and become a singer/songwriter. She was always supportive of his dreams, but got left behind as his fame grew and she decided to move to this peaceful beach-y are and is doing well for herself, ghostwriting. They bumped into each other and one thing led to another, she came home had a baby and he’s off doing his thing, but still thinking of her. Anyway…yeah. Love this build!

I have an idea for the story: A single woman finds an infant washed upon shore. It turns out that the infant is a mermaid! With nowhere to go, she decides to take in the baby. I imagine the kid will grow up and discover their mermaid origins.

If you have the 2 new kits it would be a cool idea to build an American suburban style family home with a basement for the kids with boards games, TV, sleeping bags etc.. and a greenhouse for the parent/parents

My sim was recently a single mother to twins and lived with one of her mother's!! She recently found her love of her life and has had a little boy called Rex. Turns out her new lover had a child too.. Her children's names: Emi, Riku, Leah and Rex. (Leah is the step daughter)

The house I grew up in had a similar story. They enclosed the back porch and turned it into a laundry room so we always called it ‘the back porch’. Later in life, my parents remodeled and turned the laundry room into my bedroom, and that’s when we stopped calling it a back porch.

Hey I’m not sure if anyone else has discovered this, but you can actually add a laundry day hamper to the changing table like the bins! I think it’s so the infants can wear reusable nappies
