So, how do you calculate the amount of voltage to add and subtract to the triangle wave to give the desired deadTime? For example, if I wanted 1us of deadTime, how much should be added and subtracted to the triangle wave?

Because you can't vary the duty cycle when the carrier is a square wave. Once you draw the waveforms, you will get an idea.
