did the modified actuator work better then a singleport? i understand the turbosmart dualport is the best option. but its for a budget build haha

For the results I wanted yes it worked better. You need to run it with a proper 4 port boost controller and a ECU that can use it.

Do you have to use both ports. My set up is pressure operated not vacuum and it’ actuator only. No boost controller.

For better boost response and control yes you need to use both ports. And both ports are pressure. With the 4 port boost controller you can tune which port to send the pressure to to keep the gate shut longer or open sooner

You could but no need to buy it then just buy a cheaper single port IWG

I have a dual port IWG75 which leaks from the shaft when second chamber is being pressurised. Does yours hold pressure or it just leaks almost immediately?

Which version do you have? Do you have the swivel point like mine? They all will leak a little bit but the updated version I have will leak less

@@Bang4BuckRacing I have the straight shaft one with bronze insert and o-ring. No swivel joint. But it leaks too much in my opinion. I will try to pressurize it with small diameter pipe, but I think that leak is higher than possible input.

how did this work out for you? I had the old style which leaked like a mofo. now I'm gonna try the new style hopefully with better luck.
