Crossing the highway in a live lane to setup the median signs would be a no go with the supervising state highway inspectors or state police troopers, that would get you kicked off the job in most states. Walking behind the arrowboard facing away from traffic without a TMA shadow would also get an unwarranted phone call from the supervising state highway inspector or supervising state trooper. No TMA shadow while setting out lane or picking up lane. That truck gets hit with all that equipment in the back that guy would be seriously hurt or killed. Nothing weighing down sign stands, like a tire or sand bag, signs are 45* angled and not vertical with oncoming traffic nor are the signs are raised minimum of 4 foot from the ground, all things that would get the crew kicked off the highway.
