Single to Dual Sink Bathroom Remodel Part 2

Love this...I'm starting to rent a place that has one sink and I need two....the house was builit in 1887. So how do I do this to keep the PSI the same to make a duble vanity for a couple?

That’s a good question. If you go the route I did by splitting the main line coming in, as long as you use one sink at a time, most likely your psi will not change. If you use both at the same time, your psi will likely change to be lower.

So how did the PSI come out after adding an additional sink?

My water pressure didn’t really have a noticeable change after adding the second sink. No guarantees though, probably will depend on what pressure you start with.

I have an existing vanity light… now installing shiplap and a new light.. do I need to bring the light bracket even to the the shiplap ??

Or the electrical box ? Hope that makes sense

It does make sense! So what I did was made a hole in the shiplap the size of the light box. I kept the light mount and mounted it to the light box. I didn’t have to bring the box out because my screws were long enough to reach it. (The shiplap planks are pretty thin). It worked out okay for me and hopefully your screws are long enough 🤞🏻. @@fnyfrm do not extend any outlets out of the boxes. Not safe at all. One clip you can see he done that and that’s not safe. Make sure you buy box extenders.
