@@DoctorFlute Thank you for the videos!!! I am really enjoying watching them and trying to put in practice your advices. You are amazing in your didactics!!! - In the lower registers, I often hear a buzz and at times - or most times - I don't like the tone I'm making. Not sure if it's limitation on the flute itself or if it's just me - or a combination o both. I am playing a beginners Jean Paul FL-430 which I am serious thinking in upgrading.

Hi Ronaldo! I would guess that your lips are too close together in the low register. Try lowering your teeth and make your upper lip come over the bottom in the low register. Let me know how this works. Upgrading is always good!

Difference heard !!! , absolutely awesome Angela, to be honest I've never tried the second tonguing (between) the lips, it just never occurred to me ... will try it now of course ! I still have to practice the "Pah"/"Puh", I imagine it also works perfectly to start a "piano" passage that has a phrase with "legato" notes, the neat thing is that there are sooo many possibilities for all of the tonguings ! Have you tried the "Huh" / "Uhh" Throat Tonging?, for me it works so nice for very subtle and slow Hymns and Gaelic/Irish/Scottish Airs, being constantly aware to keep the throat open after that 1/4 of a second that the throat tonguing takes place !!! Another absolutely instructive and awesome video Angela, thanks a lot, God bless

Hi Jorge, glad there is something new for you to try! The "pah" is a great way to begin legato soft passages. I don't use the between-the-lips very often. I was never taught that so I have to really think about it to include it in a solo but when I do it is a nice effect. Thanks for your kind words!
