How are people still not getting this show? The Button creates a toxic atmosphere where it feels like men and women are competing who can press it first, or at the very least they're afraid of being rejected so they press it even if they actually like the person. @@QueenAlonaaa did I say that? No. But just because a shirt and a hat don’t match, doesn’t mean it is inherently “awful style”. I was saying that, FOR ME, it was a low blow of solely not wanting what SHE had said didn’t match. She was talking about 2 clothing items, not the whole look and person. Also, my ex is my ex for a reason. Did I date him despite his style? Yes. Was it a deal breaker for me? No. Does he have bad style anymore? No. But I didn’t stay just cuz his style got “better”. I find it funny that people say "this show is turning into a competition", when in reality, that's just the current landscape of dating. Cut isn't telling these people they have to press the button, it's the groups of people themselves who are turning it into a game of who can press it more. Cut's just starting to show us more of the behind the scenes
@danaelona40812 жыл бұрын
Loo no theyre saying this game has turned into a competition literally and that is all. The “dating scene” is not at all a competition like it is depicted here. At all. Ppl may be petty but to say the dating scene has this tribe mentality like it has here is nottt accurate. In real life friends are honest and transparent with their friend who may be dating around, no one is talking with complete strangers about how to “reject another date as fast as possible”
@yowatchie2 жыл бұрын
this a dumbass observation. Like yeah the dating scene is a fucking joke rn but at least people are trying to date on some level. People here are just trying to get as much screen time as possible or get a revenge button hit, nothing else.
@KingWithersTV2 жыл бұрын
@@danaelona4081 I agree, of course it doesn't work the same way, but the mentality is similar. Apps dominate the dating scene and turns dating into a competition of attention. You have people who talk about their number of matches like it's a badge of honor and find joy in showing their matches to friends, who they choose to (not) respond to, and whatnot. Dating itself isn't competitive in the way this video shows, but it very much has competitive aspects given the popularity of apps and swiping/matching
@KingWithersTV2 жыл бұрын
@@yowatchie Think about it though, the dating landscape has reached a point where apps are very mainstream and of the norm. Of course, you have people on there looking to date to some level, but you also have plenty of people simply looking for attention, similar to someone looking for screen time. They need different rooms for everyone. They all need a chance to meet. This type of dating will keep them single. Also, the button doesn’t need to light up at a certain time and the voice needs to stop interfering with the date. 🤦🏾♀️

Forreal the button be asking awkward questions too, making the vibe cringey. And saying statements out of context.
