Actually receiving a passport is not as simple as sending in a check. So good moms want the absolute best for their children, even in adulthood. It’s perfectly natural and I’d sideeye any woman who didn’t share this sentiment. However, there should be a time that a mom lets go a bit and trusts that the time and energy she spent raising her children will reflect in how her kids turn out. If her kids stumble along the way and even make poor choices, she should trust that they will course correct and get back on track. IMO, there isn’t a real reason why a mother should be helicoptering over her adult children. Keveonia should have been able to meet with Kendra on her own, without the ongoing input from her mom. This is coming from a woman who revered and loved her mom dearly. When she was here, I’d get her input on things because I valued her opinion and perspective, but she trusted that she did a good job and allowed me to live my own life.

I have to say something about Keveonia's mom. She is part of her daughter's life meaning if anything happen to her she will be there to support her and listen to her. The biggest issue in our community is the fact we take that for granted. Our kids are being raped, molested, groomed by strangers and more and we are acting clueless or just don't know how to pay attention to the signs. Did she need to be part of the interview? No, but I love the dynamic of mother daughter. She is not going to keep her daugther single, she will keep her single from the creeps out there. Predators go after people who's family are not part of their lives, just remember that.

It can be very hard to lose weight because of their hormones being damaged with a awful diet. High cortisol levels and insulin resistance does affect weight but doesn’t by genetics, it’s by diet and exercise and once you have both, it takes extreme discipline to reverse them in order to lose weight without surgery or complete starvation
