The very notion of an 'average woman'..in 2023 you can't even say that in mainstream discourse..it's not a very lucrative concept in a world where corporations want to make everyone feel exceptional..even though they know everyone isn't -- all in the effort to extract money. There's nothing wrong with being an average, normal every day person who has stability..the original American middle class after World War II is he actual American Dream...not getting stupid rich. The sad truth is that every women desires to marry up but only black women get backlash for having that standard. I see where both sides are coming from. I understand a women not wanting to be with a guy that makes way less than them and tbh, some men be in competition with their women. A lot of BW do not approach dating like women of other groups. Many lack a key word - *humility* If you want to marry up, cool..if that's the case then character & competency need to be the biggest priority..and really the only priority. But you'll see sistas in their 40's with childish expectations like they are still in high school. If a man is taller & cute, that's just a bonus black women!. .looks is not a man's primary job..other women understand the assignment and act accordingly. You don't see women of other groups loudly talking about how they don't need a man, even if they are doing well financially..because they know it's *unattractive* - Why would a rare man in the prime of his life choose a chick who would proudly tell him she doesn't need him , when he has so many women who absolutely understand that they are coming into *his* situation, and not vice versa. That last woman is attractive at 49, but she lacks the humility & self-awareness to understand that it's not all about her. Also - soley looking at one's present day income is extremely short-sighted. I personally know several brothers in that 70 to 100K range, they manage finances well, have little to no debt, minimal expenses, good credit, savings in the bank with real portfolios & upward mobility. In many cases they are actually doing *better* financially than some of these high earning women, especially the women with children (they are spending less & saving more) These men could no doubt hold their own with whatever lifestyle these so called six figure women are purporting to live. But they exercise discipline, require respect, and know that they aren't just some women's entertainment for social media, they know their self-worth. They can get with a woman who will exponentially appreciate what he can bring to her life. A lot of women of other groups seem to have less trouble respecting a man who makes less, and they don't care about the outside optics of how it looks. Sisters need to get off social media and plug into the real world. The last chick will most likely have to either get with a man who is 60+ years old , or be with a guy who doesn't give her 'tingles'. A man the same age in the mid six figures could easily get multiple women in their late 20s/early 30s - she can't compete with them.

I get your perspective. Beautiful women are everywhere and guys will sleep with almost anything. The issue is women for some reason think that men making money will only be with them. Broke men want to sleep around too. Most of the women that come on the show that are divorced blame it on infidelity. We married early because we saw the benefits and found someone that was ready to support our goals to provide at that level. It is easy for me to let a man lead if he has the character of a leader. I will give honor where honor is due. By the way, I was a great wife and a super mom. I cooked, cleaned, took care of the home and rocked it at work. It’s not that difficult to do it all. AND… I didn’t have to be a man to be successful. There’s a lot of diversity training out there, and I will be glad to recommend some resources if you would like. In fact, I’m writing a book about it so check for it later.

Kendra, the western world mainly Western Europe and the USA are two of the main places on earth where women don’t date older men in massively higher numbers. In most of the rest of the world women have usually dated older men for hundreds if not thousands of years. Especially in Africa! My ex from from Brazil shot me down in the beginning because she thought I was too young even though we were both the same age! I think 10 years older is a good combination for a woman looking for something serious.

The request for an older man is not largely about the AGE, it’s about the MONEY. These wmn, especially in poorer nations, equate a man of their age with not having the ability to provide. Instead of saying they don’t date men that cannot provide, they say they date men that are older. The only difference is in 🇺🇸 most wmn don’t have a problem with letting it be known that they want you to have 💰
