I don't agree with Clarke's viewpoint about Reilly at all. He didn't abandon her, he took a break and then he came back and they played together again and they lost unfortunately. Korruption and Anarchy happened and this is where we r at now, no one abandoned anybody

@RJCUSHING6 жыл бұрын
So....how many of you complaining about that 5 point question being answerable without having seen the movie also complained when Rocha won on "What 1999 historical drama starred Jodie Foster and Chow-Yun Fat"? Or when Lon got the "Who played the villain in Drop Zone question"? Or when Macuga got asked "Which 1986 movie stared Charlie Sheen as a high school football player opposite Corey Haim"? I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Personally, I agree there should be a little more consistency with round 3 questions in terms of equitability (asking about a lesser known movie title or supporting actor/actress is fine, as long as the 5 point question given to the opponent is on parr in terms of difficulty), but the league clearly states that difficulty is subjective (which is largely true) and the luck of the draw is exactly that...the luck of the draw. Sometimes it goes in favor of your favorite competitors, sometimes it doesn't. It's part of the game, so can we keep the belittling people's victories to a minimum please -- it gets tiring to repeat how hard ALL of the competitors work to play in these matches and that just because you think their 5 pointer was too easy does not mean they didn't deserve the win.
@ChrisWoodburn836 жыл бұрын
Well said Rachel and i couldn't agree more
@otter136 жыл бұрын
Very well said. I get it tho, when the person u want to win ends up losing, u look for excuses to why they lost instead of just admitting that the other person was just better that day. I'm sure if u took 2 different people and put them in that same round 3, some people in Ben's seat would come out victorious....they definitely wouldn't be missing that Bangarang question lol.

@@otter13 I get it too and I think people absolutely SHOULD have favorites and should cheer for them, but I can't understand the lack of respect on the part of some fans... It's frustrating to say the least, but I am encouraged by the positive responses too and though I will always try and call out unnecessary cruelty and hypocrisy, I want to concentrate on the fans that do respect the competitors and the game...even when their favorites don't win :)
@declanoreilly8916 жыл бұрын
I don’t think most people are trying to take anything away from Clarke (she played an amazing match) and it isn’t ever on the competitor it’s just an issue with the game and how much evidence a player should be gifted compared to another. While it all comes down to the knowledge, the lack of depth needed for some is what seems unfair
@joshuatabak956 жыл бұрын
After watching Collider Live this morning, are we going to see Kristian's zone out face again, when Ellis reads the rules? That was pretty funny when they discussed that.
@ajl97726 жыл бұрын
Great match by both. I wasn't a big fan Clarke's 5 pointer. If feel a 5 pointer should actually be a plot related question rather than "name the film, released in this year, starring this actor". Too many clues and you don't even need to have seen the film to know the answer. Not trying to take anything away from Clarke because she played amazing, but I would like it if there was some standard for it. EDIT: Because some people view this as salty or belittling Clarke's win I want to emphasize again I'm not taking anything from Clarke's win. She played an amazing match and I think more likely than not she would have hit the 5 pointer even if there was fewer clues in the queston. I'm simply offering my insight into criteria I think should be in a 5 pointer as has been suggested by competitors of the game. Sorry to all the Wolfe fans who feel the need to defend her. I would have brought this up had the situation been reversed.
@DepecheMol6 жыл бұрын
Completely agreed. Having to have seen the movie seems a reasonable standard for 5 pointers. They should err on the side of making them impossible, since it negates much of the rest of the match when someone gets it right and the other don’t.
@Vader470006 жыл бұрын
The apparent lack of consistency within difficulty levels has been a longstanding debate. Unless they choose to tighten it up it's just another facet of luck/random chance factoring into the game.
@ajl97726 жыл бұрын
@@Vader47000 Yea I know Samm and McWeeny have expressed their frustration by it. I just feel a five pointer is worth too much to not have some sort of criteria. At the very least they should limit the amount of information given about the film. No need to give the leading actor, release date and description of the film. Just having two of those would be enough information for the guesser. EDIT: I would argue getting the synopsis of the film alone should be enough information for a 5 pointer.
@TheMRalex19936 жыл бұрын
I think it has to do with the luck of the numbers you choose. You can be lucky and have an easy question as your five pointer and the impossible question as the one pointer. As with the weel, it's luck.
@DepecheMol6 жыл бұрын
Alex Danielsson they have said they have 3 sets of questions for every category. This certainly seems to be the case in the last few months since 2 pointers are pretty easy

My favorite match of the tournament so far. I didn't want either of them to lose, Batemans post-match interview was tough to watch, you can see he was trying to keep up with his persona but this lose also really got him. Reminded me of when he lost to Rocha. God bless Clarke, such a delightful person, and such effortless gameplay. I think Andreyko v Wolfe is gonna be great, wonder if it'll ignite any tension within the Fyffe Club. I do really think Who's The Boss are gonna beat the Shirewolves, the fact that Rachel and Clarke have beaten Ben twice will certainly have a psychological effect but the way he plays with Reily is almost Above The Line level magic. I love the Shirewolves that being said, I would also love to beat the Patriots region. Easily the most anticipated Spectacular match is this team title match
