Wheeeewwwwww now the tone has been set and this match lived up to all of the hype. Collins was dominant again. It's really tough to beat a guy who basically gets one question wrong per match. I know if anything like the lizard/iguana thing happens in his match vs sneider he'll be all over that challenge. If we get the Sneider that beat Oyama, the finals will be a hell of a match. Huge props to Liz for her run in this tournament. She was fun to watch in play and personality and really made a name for herself in the best ways. Plus the chemistry she has with Winston is such a joy to watch. She's got as good of an argument for one of Winston's 3 slots as Ace (if he loses the star wars title match). Can't wait to see what she does next season. I accept that I'll be in the minority here, but i have minimal interest in the WILDBERRIES match. It'll be a solid match with a no win situation storyline wise. If he wins, Macuga is stuck in Schmoedown no mans land schedule wise because he wants to do other things with his career and has a kid on the way. So he'd never play anyway and the league loses Dewberry. If Dewberry wins, there's slightly more story pay off. But because he doesn't play a ton either, the 'Dewberry taking the game seriously' story is muddled by the fact his draft stock doesn't improve if he wins because he's 'expected to'.

lol I forgot all about The Wildberries. I never cared for them much, they made a huge spectacle of becoming a team and just didn't deliver. I did kind of miss Macuga though, he's just best in small doses so I'm looking forward to their retirement match. Loved Liz's words about Winston and how SWAG feels like a family for her (Similar to what Bibbiani said about The Quirky Mercs) and I love how they have rubbed off on her too. I hope Winston doesn't miss the beginning of a match again, really missed his presence in the beginning. Was rooting for Liz but great match. I don't have much to say about Collins, I wonder how he would do under the lights and that pressure in the studio cause he's only played at home. He needs to really prove himself there to see how he REALLY is as a competitor. Go Sneider! He's the better story to face Murrell since he's never gotten his shot the whole time he's been in The Schoedown, it's always been a shame they missed each other. As for Liz, your a badass and I bow to you! You took out Chance and Bibbiani, your a goddess! No one will underestimate you now. After this Tournament I can't wait to see what the future holds for you and your Schmoedown career next year. Your a Queen, will forever root for you and love that your on SWAG. Future champion, keep that crown shining. Winston, MOTY is still yours baby! Loved what he said about Liz, and you didn't let Liz down. This match should be a required watch for every new player entering the league. If Kristian's staring at an answer for 2 minutes and rearranging his glasses (and assuming you know that there are 3 movies in the Expendables franchise) AND the opponent said "2", it is somewhat obvious what the correct answer is "3". A written "2" at least looks somewhat similar to a written "3" and people with bad glasses / eyesight tend to have problems telling those two apart. So this was in no way about _knowledge_, it was all about "reading the table" if you will... or well, for lack of a better term, "gameplay". Liz is an excellent player, her knowledge is obviously up there, but she needs to do just a little bit more homework in the Stacy Howard department of the Schmoedown - context clues, reading the table, etc... it's even sadder as this could have won her the match. Still, what a battle! Whoever wins the tournament will have thoroughly deserved it!

As far as I'm concerned, Liz gave this match by walkover... I get not everyone has to remember every line of Thor movie, I didn't know the answer for sure either, but... a rabbit? Where in the whole Nordic mythology can you find any rabbit? Who thinks about a rabbit while seeing Loki? Liz hasn't even tried here. This answer is blatantly wrong and shows complete lack of effort, which I find unfair to the people that rooted for her, including me.

@@ptcarbonproductions2013 I dunno, maybe "rabbit" was stuck in the back of her head because of Thor calling Rocket "oh sweet rabbit" in Infinity War? I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt... my initial guess was snake, I then thought about it some more, couldn't remember the scene, but thought that snake was a really good suggestion (giving Loki's antics and all) and basically stuck with it. It's not something I'd get upset about. The thing with the "1" guess (?) on the other hand is something you can prepare for and you need to know these things if you want to play at an elite level. It's similar to the weirdly worded 2 pointer in an IG match "which MCU movie was released directly after Iron Man 2 and the 5th MCU movie?" or something like that, where the competitor (whoever it was) then started to crunch numbers and think of the 5th movie after Iron Man 2's release instead of the one released right after Iron Man 2 (basically ignoring the additional information that it's the 5th movie overall, which .. to be fair... was more confusing than helpful). I immediately knew the answer just because I know that a 2 pointer doesn't tend to make you go through gigantic hoops in your head... it tends to be a fairly obvious answer (like Lucas Black). It didn't even occur to me that they could be asking for the 9th movie overall, just because I'm familiar with the skill level of 2 pointers.

Spoilers: . . . . Winston not being there for Round 1 might've cost Liz the match. Adam wrote "LADYBIRD" as one word, not two, (@ 24:55) which I believe Winston would've caught and challenged. Liz didn't catch it because she was too focused on the game. That was a 2-point swing (missed Q plus no shot at a bonus point) that would've at least forced Adam to answer his 5-pointer.
