Hi there, in this video we are going to learn about Singular Nouns and Plural Nouns.
Noun- names a person, place, thing, or animal.
Nouns can be:
A. Singular Nouns - is a noun that names one person, place, thing, or animal.
B. Plural Nouns - is a noun that names more than one person, place, thing or animal.
RULES IN CHANGING SINGULAR NOUN TO PLURAL NOUN
1. Singular noun form plural noun by adding s to the noun
2. Add es to the nous ending in s, ss, sh, ch, x, z.
3. If a singular noun end in a vowel and an o, add s to make it plural.
4. If a singular noun end in a consonant and an o, add es to make it plural.
5. If a singular noun end in a vowel and a y, add s to make it plural.
6. If a singular noun end in a consonant and a y, change y to ies to make it plural.
