I see how you can control the length of the fill from this video. Does the transition work the same way? A lot of times I feel my transitions are way too long ... does starting the transition one or two beats into the measure and letting go after maybe one beat shorten it? Someone please answer. Can i disable intro and outro drum fills on my beatbuddy mini 2? Ive heard it can on bb orig. but on bb mini its only the intro that could be disabled but not its outro

How to balance and keep each style at the same volume? because each style has high dynamic volumes for some styles and low for others.... for example, I connect my beatbuddy mini 2 directly to the soundboard... I use the ROCK style, I adjust the volume.... but when I change it to FUNK or BLUES the volume is lower and interferes with the performance when playing live... because I'm using it in bars and events with voice and guitar.

The Mini has a hand percussion beat song. The regular BeatBuddy allow you to edit and solo an individual part using the BB manager.

No you can not. You would have to dial the BPM on the tempo knob.

Yes, you can tap tempo using the Footswitch, scroll through songs and make pauses.

You can disable the intro fills by holding the right knob.

Time signature cannot be changed. You would need to navigate to a different song that has a different time signature.

Does the pedal have any real simple tracks like bass drum on quarter notes and the high hat on beats 2 and 4, that sub genius students could use? If it had a learning genera with 10 or so basic beats for people just learning, it would have an entry for those wanting to move up later to the rest of the pedal. There must be a lot of people wanting to move from student playing alone to playing with others and some simple rhythms with drums and cymbles would be a good start.

Not by default, but you can add them or edit existing beats on the BeatBuddy if you get that instead of the Mini. Modification of the Mini's content is not possible, although it does come with a variety genres/songs that may meet your needs. And we are here to assist you if you ever need us. :-)

Chromaesthesia unfortunately there's no USB port on the MINI to add songs to it. Only on the BeatBuddy. We have a sixty day return policy, if you would like to return it and get the BeatBuddy instead. 👍

You can modify content on the BeatBuddy, but not the BeatBuddy Mini. We have two models of the drum machine, the one in the video above is the Mini.

If you are asking from the aspect of where to put it in a daisy chain, put it at the end so it does not get affected by any other effects pedals. Other than that, it's merely a matter of personal preference.

You may want to mention that the footswitch is only functional with the cable that came with it.

It will work with any TRS (stereo) cable, it does not have to be ours. If you are using a mono cable, it will not work.

That is a very nice little instructional video on how to use the product(s.) Everything covered is laid out well. I have one suggestion though: Learn to put the "L" in the word always, insead of saying OOOh-ways. This is just a minor suggestion. I enjoyed the video and learned from it. Thanks !
