To me Spider-Man is hope and inspiration. During my childhood I was badly bullied so spent a lot of time in doors reading. My late grandmother brought me a Spider-Man comic and it was then I found someone who was like me and struggled like I did but kept on going. It gave me hope and made me feel that I wasn't alone, and it's a feeling that hasn't left after all these years since. That's my take on what Spider-Man is.

Spider-Man is never accepting “Lesser Evil” when Good has even a sliver of a chance; In the original Spider-Man Movie where The Green Goblin gave him a Trolley problem of MJ vs a Cable Car of people, he put his life on the line, and his trust in the people of New York, to save both. That’s the perfect scene summing up who Spider-Man is for me; Pure good without reward, without Peter getting credit, without regard for what it will cost him or even any assurance that he won’t die for his heroism. The man that is unworthy of Mjolnir not for being too weak, but for being too moral; The weapon would not accept him because he’s not a warrior, just someone who helps - I’d say saviour but that sounds too arrogant for the Spidey we know and love; he’s just your friendly neighbourhood, doing what he can to help.

To me, Spiderman is the determination to do the right thing even when its tough and no matter what life throws at you, if you perservere then maybe you can walk out with a smile no matter how whatever ends. That when youre in a tough spot, you have to keep going even when it seems theres no way out. Time moves forward whether you like it or not and things can get worse, but equally like that, things can get better. Yeah he has great power, but time and time again he just goes through things where that extra power doesnt even register. But he STILL walks forward. Even if the result is gray and not good or bad or just doesnt feel right. Its scary to go on forward while going through something horrible or if it had just passed. And if its ending in something not so happy, you can look back at what good you did cause even in the smallest way it mattered, cause you did do your best even when you were at your worst. Its all any of us can hope to do. Maybe some people are just bad at their worst, but everyone can strive to get better and its not like everyones bad all the time. Spiderman likes to bring out that quality in others. If you strive to do your best maybe it can rub off on others. So in a sense Spidermans the possibility of hope. Spider-Man is everyone. The bravery of soldiers to head to the fight, the sense of justice to not kill even though evil has been done. But he is the shy school kid who sits alone because they are different, the person to try to cheer people up when they are scared. Spider-Man is the idea of the average person trying to make it through the hard situations. He is all of us, we are Spider-Man.

Growing up I looked more to hulk because of my anger but as I've grown I have grown more to spider-man because spidey gives me a sense of "never give up" kind of mentality. It's honestly helped with real world issues and because I've never given up I wouldn't have gotten to where I am today in life. Comics do have a great influence to everyone and that's why I love how great these writers are because they give these characters something to give to the readers to use in there lives. It would be nice if the next issue we find out that MJ and Peter Never left Mephisto and everything since one more day was an illusion created by Mephisto. Then he would not make the deal aunt may would die... but then you could get some good Spiderman stories where him and MJ are together and because we are going back we dont need to worry about Zeb Fails who hates mj and has a thing for black cat.

This issue seems interesting. To be honest, Spiderman seems to me to be the pit bull of superheros. He is fiercely protective and very loving. On the other hand, he's dumb as a brick, at least in his personal relationships. However he ticked MJ off, well, this seems like another "One more day." I hate them always writing his as a loser in his Peter Parker identity. I think I'm off of Spiderman forever. I'll still watch your videos, unless I ever hear that you've made a deal with the devil to save your ancient aunt at the price of your wife. ;)

This was a good issue. Like Black Cat, we all love that boy scout. 😂 Spider-Man, to me. Is an inspiration. I started liking Spidey way back when the 90’s cartoon aired. And seeing him on the big screen being played by Tobey Maguire sealed the deal with those first two movies.

To me Spider-Man at his core is about hope. Everything about the character says that to me. He represents growth against terrible odds and trauma. Its impossible to forget how he engages with something as important as responsibility too. He rarely ever uses purely offensive weapons or wears body armour. Most of the time he even wears bright colours whilst doving into danger. His powers are so easily used in other more violent or profitable ways but he chooses to be a hero and save lives. Regardless what craziness and poor decisions writers make with stories about him I cannot help but always return to that core view of Peter Parker and Spider-man. That of a good person doing the best they can.

He is the only unstoppable force of good. He is of the people and not above them in any way. He questions his choices and wonders if he could have done better. He sees angles in scenarios that most don't consider. His actions have consequences that he is willing to pay for and not just sidestep. He is marvels greatest hero but isn't that universes most loved one. He is the moral high ground even if it isn't popular or useful.

This was a fantastic issue to celebrate 900 issues and Peter’s birthday! It feels like a giant love letter to Spider-Man and it perfectly captures who he is: a hero who always stands up to protect those who can’t protect themselves, whether they’re friend, foe, or just someone who needs help. Even if the entire world is knocking him down, he always gets back up and keeps going! Also, Peter getting a birthday kiss from Felicia was super sweet because even though I prefer him with MJ, the poor guy deserves some love after everything that’s happened recently!
