Summer is coming!!!! The bearing is going out on my compressor. I was trying to just swap the clutch pulley assembly from a junkyard compressor. I was hoping to avoid opening the system. 😂 I appreciate the motivational words at the end.

Everything is easy if you’re patient and have the tools. Doing this also helps if you aren’t depending on the car to be back in action fast. I did it over a few days of actually working on it. But I’m patient and thorough with my work.

How did you diagnose it was the compressor? Were there visible leaks in the engine bay after refilling?

Did you run into any issues using a GS300 compressor, I'm thinking about going with an ebay remanufactured GS300 Compressor since it's $20 cheaper than the IS300 counter part. I've heard good things about them and they're only $160 compared to what an OEM Denso one goes for. Thanks for the great tutorial as always you really saved my ass with your manual swap guide!

No issues. It’s the same compressor with different clutch design. Plug is same.

@@TunerwithKidshey Binh bought a Denso 471-1221 compressor it fit in pretty good but the low pressure line can’t connect onto the compressor the the line is too but, weird Bc the suction like fit on perfectly fine.

That’s odd. Cause it should be exactly same check your o-rings?

@@TunerwithKids it was the o rings that came with the Denso compressor they were to fat I ended up putting some pag oil on it and and ended up using the nut to bring the lines into the compressor, so if anyone buys the compressor brand new just keep in mind the o rings provided are a little too big

What is the ac compressor mounted to in the front? The 2 long 14mm, is it bolt to just the timing cover? Or goes throught to the block?

It was in the garage. And taken apart so degrease and brake clean does the job.
