Actually, to me, the top 3 of these films are part 1, followed by part 2, then part 4. In that order. Part 3 is a nice premise but wasn't executed well enough. Great video

One thing I thought was interesting about this one was that the actor who played Vincent also played three finger in some scenes and the actor who played the orderly who was killed first also played saw tooth. I didn’t catch it until my 4th or 5th rewatch. I wonder if they just didn’t have enough cast members or they thought it would be a fun add in🤷‍♀️

Characters were totally unlikable in my view. I actually found myself rooting for inbred, hillbilly monsters over them!

I really enjoyed this one on rewatch. I thought part 2 was way better after my 1st watch. On rewatch part 4 is my 2nd or 3rd fav. Part 3 was also better still below 2 but 2 was not as good as i remember ending was awesome and enjoy the surprise killing main character but had camera filter issue and 1st half had odd pacing. Part 4 had stupid characters, bad acting but great gore. My rank. 1.oringal wrong turn. 2.reboot 3.Wrong turn 2 4. Wrong turn 4(tied with 2) 5. Wrong turn 3 6. Wrong turn 5 7. Last resort.(softcore incest prone with cgi gore)

Just watched this again last night. Usually I don’t care for poor acting but the lesbian actress’s acting was ... I like the snow aspect of it and the main final girl was pretty and cool. And a lot of good screams :)

I just watch it and I liked it but it had the most worst decision making i ever watched in a horror movie, hands down dumbest fucking characters imaginable. Example 1: they chase the hillbillies into a cell and they get locked in then let the girl convince everyone not to kill them or at least the guy that was ready to burn them alive. 2: the same guy comes running to the door moments later with a sack on his head they decide oh it's the small killer, he's unarmed let's kill him. Even I knew it wasnt one of the killers but it had me thinking oh now you wanna kill one now that their out and using some fucking idiot that fell asleep as bait. I'm sorry I was really enjoying this one and its still a good one but that shit almost killed it for me.

@@sinistercinemareviews5420 I was posting this comment at the start of the video then heard you mentioning the same thing bout when the hillbillies were locked in the cell. The ending where the girls were beheaded was a accidental mistake which I agree with you on. Unless the hillbillies knew that they would knock one off their snowmobile and use it to try and escape but there isn't a way they could of set that wire up predicting that would happen ahead of time.

I think the story was set in 1974, and Saw-Tooth, One-Eye, and Three-Finger, were in their teens. In 2003, 29 years later Saw-Tooth was 39, One-Eye was 38, Three-Finger was 37. They look older during the 29 year time jump.

In the credits it displayed: Three Finger: the actor(8) One Eye: the actor (9) Sawtooth: the actor (10) So they would be in their mid to late 30's. :)

dawg imagine seeing them cutting chunks off of your friend and frying them in grease and eating it in front of them then not killing them. that part totally took me out of the movie. at least in the first one(the best one for obvious reasons) they did everything they could to kill them.

I do have a huge weak spot for this film - like you said SC generic doesn't mean it can't be fun and it does entertain me. I'm a sucker for the soundtrack too especially the Blackout City Kids tracks. Absolutely with you though on the cell scene though when they could have just KILLED them there and then, can't stand it when the opportunity is right there and they don't take it! 😑 Otherwise it is a fun, brainless watch that for me marked the end of the series as I cannot empathise just how much I hate 5 & 6. Really looking forward to seeing what you think of number 6. Excellent review! 🙂
