Note #:1 regarding the "lacking points in Crossroads, so how do I get other [insert name] constellation" question related to some of the builds: in the devotion system, you can refund the points spent in any constellation anytime - and the Crossroads is not an exclusion. Later in the game, if you are able to get a stronger constellation without a certain point in the Crossroads, it's better to invest that point into something else for a better bonus. But ofc, at first, you always begin from the Crossroads. This said, I've updated most of the build links where possible, and "reverted" couple of points to show the initial Crossroads distribution. Hop in to our discord for the advice and clarifications if you're not sure at some point still. Note #2: couple piecs of the video showing devotion constellations, are a bit different from the devotion setup at the build calculator page due to me mistakenly inserting pieces of video recorded during the testing of the build before the final setup. Please make sure to refer exactly to the build calculator page linked. Note #3: regading the Reaping Arc (Reaper build): I personally consider it still a tad too OP, so not using it when playing for myself. This has nothing to do with the public build video, ofc, and should've been used for the showcase, but I forgot to swap and realized that already after published a video.

Warder build is awesome, but it's extremely tedious levelling without an aoe. Better to pick up primal strike and level with that and then switch when you have the points to max savagery, tenacity and zolhans.

lolol I had a somewhat the same Warlord and did the highest Block chance I could get and then a little retaliation: You literally just enter an Area, stand there, and then do something else in real life - eat, take a shit, walk your dog, f*ck around - when you comeback, your character is still there. Level 74 in, I stopped because it was becoming boring. Now, im in the quest of getting as much lightning proc as I can get like passive lightning per Attack, to fill my screen - it's challenging.

I'm doing the Warlord build right now and holy crap it's amazing. I can just literally press 1 button while standing still in the middle of 20 enemies and my HP would not dip below 90%! 10/10 gameplay 😂

Good stuff. I had a Reaper build mapped out just as a general idea of where I wanted to go and at the core it's how you have yours set up with a few miscellaneous differences. It was nice to see your devotion layout though. I've been pretty lazy about sitting down and wading through all the options to nail it down but the 2 I did have open were ones you took already too. I'll consider swapping around some of my abilities in the future as I get higher level and more of the classes opened up. For now I've taken Shadow Strike in Nightblade because it's just so much fun for hit and run tactics, and handy for mobility around the map to both get me in and out of trouble.

Hey man, I have a few questions about the Warder and Warlord builds: 1 - For the Warder's Savagery skill, is it mandatory to use a 2-handed weapon instead of a Sword & Shield? 2 - Is a Sword & Shield even viable for a Warder aiming to facetank Callagadra? 3 - Is the Warlord a worse option for facetanking compared to the Warder? I saw the Warlord's health and mana dropped and filled much more than the Warder's, and the Warlord had many more buttons he needed to press. 4 - On that note, what are the main gameplay differences between Warlord and Warder? I'm hoping to facetank Callagadra with a Shield, I just don't want to have to press a lot of buttons to do it as well owing to a hand injury. Thanks for reading, hope you're doing well man :)

I probably should try a build like one of these. I always try my own in HC but I don't think they are ever quite strong enough to face celestial bosses. My best was a scorpius pet ritualist that defeated the clones of John Bourbon and Lokaar.

Warder was my first ever character in Grim Dawn when I started in 2018. A great class for clearing big groups of enemies and staying alive within. Right now I´m playing a Death Knight with focus on aether & physical damage and as well converting damage into health. We´ll see how it will work out once I´m in ultimate difficulty!

Talking about the first build (Warder), can you tell me please what is the buff spell we can see in the hotkey bar between Mogdrogen's pact and Menhir Bulwark ? It doesn't appear in the build or in the stuff properties. It looks like the Ring of Steel icon from the Nightblade.

This is my first ARPG since the thousands of hours I invested into Diablo III and a much smaller amount of time with PoE. It seems that this game is a lot less focused on “do so much damage that nothing can ever hit you anyway” and a lot more focused on “sponge so much damage that you can face roll your keyboard while standing in a swarm of enemies”. All this to say, do glass cannon builds work effectively here?

It's neither - you're giving a superficial evaluation of the game. Grim Dawn is probably the only game on the market which actually allows you to have not only both kind of such builds, but all possible other archetypes - and all of them will be effective. GD offers the biggest diversity of [viable] character builds possible.

Generally, there's no "bad class" in Grim Dawn - it's only about how exactly you combine masteries (classes) skills, gear, sockets, devotion and ofc, your playstyle :3

Hey mate. Components are always from a bit to pretty much different for every player as it all depends on the player's gear. Generally, for the armor and jewerly, you want to use components that will compensate for your weakest defensive parts. Weapon components are (usually) same for every build, so these I could add in a couple of days when I'll finish my current project. Work fully as intended, I tested them all after the patch was released. Skills-wise, masteries mostly got bumped, not nerfed. Couple of minor balance nerfs for skills also do not affect the these builds in any way to become notably weaker - most became stronger.

The build is fully complete. Weapon components and augments are in the calcator. Armor ones is no sense to put threre because of different gear for every player, every player will have different ones. Its very simple - just get what you are lacking for in resistances.

Heya. Exact attribute distribution "up to the point" doesn't have much sense as this would be pretty different for every player depending on the gear. The distribution of points "in the core" is mentioned for every build in the video.

I'll add key weapon augments and components, but as for the rest of gear, there's no sense to include exact ones, as due to different gear and on different progression stage, every player will have diffferent resistances. It's not hard either. You crank up what you lack in the most.
