I know it doesn’t have to do with Oceanliners but are you guys planning on anything for the Edmund Fitzgerald? The 49th Anniversary of her sinking is on the 10th. Just wondering because I love the Great Lakes Freighters too. Also, great job on this Britannic project! Can’t wait to see the finished product!

I'd love to see that too, but: 1. Kinda short notice; if they had anything planned, it'd probably have been announced by now, 2. Not their forte; this group is primarily concerned with the Olympic Class liners. If anything, that's more a Tom Lynskey/Part-Time Explorer thing, and he's been off the THG team for years. 3. We still don't know 100% how the Fitzgerald went down; hard to design a real-time sinking animation when so much of the real-time data is a mystery. 4. The 49th Anniversary is one thing, but if it were to happen, it'd be far more special to save it for next year on the 50th.

The funnels should not smoke if they their base is under water already, that's just unrealistic. The fires in the boiler rooms are long, long out by this point.

This looks great. The sound is good too. The snapping of the boiler cables was a great touch. Cant wait to see the finals. What program do you compisite in and do the water effects in?

Those are the funnels. The boilers would be at the very bottom of the ship, where coal was shoveled in and turning the water running through them into steam.
