Just bought it on GOG. Hope to see THG there too - no joke, I'd buy and gift multiple copies.

Imagine being in this situation, unable to board a lifeboat due to poor planning and greed. Seeing the ocean slowly come closer as you listen to a quartet playing somber, classical music. Knowing that you will surely die an awful death. Such a surreal and horrific experience, yet experienced by a large group of people. There are no words.

This is INCREDIBLE!!! The animation is fantastic. All the time line and the information during the whole animation was very informal. Must have been frightning and a horrible way to die. (In that freezing water or drowning below) Very sad. x

A couple of 'What-Ifs': 1) Vintage Digital Revival was able to collaborate with the copyright holders of AOoT and create the sequel(s) it would be fun to see the Russian Revolution and Hindenburg. 2) A whole adventure novel series based on AOoT and the sequel ideas... 3) OR BOTH‽

The additional workload (impressive) of adding passenger animation adds a distinctly human element that has previously been missing from this masterful work. I believe this will significantly add to a heretofore missing and critical emotional dimension to the re-creation of that terrible night. Otherwise, viewers are left with a very clinical impression of the sinking of the 'RMS Titanic'. Those who are seriously interested in the story of this major and haunting North Atlantic disaster will forever miss the point. The reason for the enduring infamy of this tragedy is the failure to grasp the fragility of Humankind's existence. We are, today, aboard another Titanic named Earth. Human hubris and ignorance about the vital, universal need for all of us to recognize that if we fail to change course now, climate change will soon threaten all life as we know it. This time, there will be no lifeboats.

I actually went on a cruise last month. It wasn't until I was on social media and saw something about major events in history that I realized...I'd gone on a cruise on the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic. I left my room and went to the deck. It was about 11pm and I was looking over the Atlantic Ocean and saw how dark it was. I mean, it was pitch black and limited moonlight. I was sitting on the ship and it made me think, "Wow, this is how the passengers on the Titanic experienced the early stage of sinking." It also made me realize that I was on a ship, living on it basically, and if it were to sink under me, I would literally have nowhere to go but into the water. Even if I was in a lifeboat, I would definitely go into the water, along with thousands of other people on the ship. It's eerie to think about how those passengers were sinking and flailing in the ocean in the pitch dark, not knowing what was coming next. Then hearing the desperate cries of those in the water gradually going silent, their echoes outlasting their last breath. I sat on the deck for about an hour and let me tell you, when I went back to my room, I left that deck with a huge and newfound respect for the captain, engineers, builders, sailors...and nature.

I think its quite exquisite! (Ignoring the fact 1500 people died that day.) Every shot looks like a painting! In 2025, I want you to absolutely try your absolute hardest to make the ship's sinking just exactly like the james cameron movie in terms of lighting, or exactly like a Ken Marshall painting. However this 2024 animation truly makes you feel like you are onboard the ship, at least if you wear headphones and turn off the lights in the room you are watching this in. Keep up the good work guys!

Couldn't 'Adventure out of Time' be a remake? Simply integrate it into Honor and Glory. Back then, the Olympic deck plan was used, especially in the Turkish baths, right?

My interest in Titanic was partially born out of Adventure Out of Time. When Cameron's movie came out, I was 10, and my parents were very strict about movie ratings - meaning I'd have to wait 3 years to see the huge cultural touchstone literally all of my classmates were talking about. The trailers of the film were enough to get me intrigued. I got the wonderful Titanic: an Illustrated History by Don Lynch and Ken Marschall that same year. Meanwhile, my dad and I really got into point-and-click adventure games; we were big fans of Myst and its sequels and Sierra's later King's Quest and Space Quest games. Titanic AooT I think was a birthday gift the following year. The main thing I enjoyed about it was the same thing I enjoy about Titanic H&G: the resurrection of this grand, lost place and time that you can walk around as if you were there. I remember getting stuck at some point, too. I think it was getting the painting. Rather than getting the guide book, I think I printed a walkthrough off of the early internet that got me through it. Favorite line is Penny Pringle's rather bizarre delivery of the line, "You'll find him in the Cafe Parisienne...nibbling pastries...."
