Michelle O'Neill seems to be a very capable person and she certainly leaves me with a good impression. The real test of course, starts now. Emma Little-Pengelly seems to have been a good choice to work with her as Deputy First Minister. They both got off to a good start with their speeches. However, with the likes of TUV Leader Jim Allister and other dinosaurs, the pair have their work cut out. I wish them luck and I hope they can move Northern Ireland forward and by doing so, lessen the voice of the political dinosaurs and make working together the norm. I do believe that Northern Ireland will eventually unite with the Republic, but they first need to demonstrate that Nationalists and Unionists of the younger generations can work together. I believe that Michelle and Emma have a good chance of doing that.

Miss O´Neill´s first Minister election is a huge step in the Irish people's reconciliation between themselves and for the real and honest good of their future generations that have the right far from the hate and perversion of the Irish national politics in the name of an "ideal" for the British puppeteer. Wish the best to her in the name of a very beautiful and lovely Ireland for all of them.

Mr Allister... have you nobody left in your life that you want to be safe and happy and have a better life than most of us had growing up in "the troubles"? There are many more than you who have suffered... on BOTH sides.. right or wrong . Let it go to history. We NEED and WANT a community who is here for EACH OTHER regardless of a last name . All the best N Ireland may you and citizens receive all the best to come your way. Scotland and Wales are on the same path. The UK government I have always said Tories will bring about the demise of the union they are doing a great job of that all by themselves.. The three nations the citizens all can't be wrong. For sure huge changes are coming just a matter of time. The Tories want to retain the same old old as it suits them very well indeed. The problem with that UK becomes static and only works for the few never for the majority. Nothing remains the same have to embrace change. Tories and ilks do not do that have not and will not. The citizens will, probably not be citizens within England maybe will but they sadly keep voting Tories. However change just a matter of time despite what the UK government wants. So tick tock goes the clock. Time stops for no one.

We in the UK hope the British goverment will have open and true democracy reformed with a eye of scrutiny on those employed by the British government in the police armed forces and the NHS in the light of recent crimes committed by British employees. The real problem with Ulster becoming part of the republic is the difference in wages and benefits between the two parts of Ireland. Either Eire would have to continue higher pay,or most people who voted for a united ireland would take a pay cut. After all,how could an Irish government justify paying higher wages and benefits to one of its provinces? What would people in Galway or Mayo think about their taxes paying for a higher standard of living for Ulster than they get?
@conradblack77910 ай бұрын
You do realise 3 counties of ulster are already part of the republic right? People who work in and around Dublin already get paid more than other parts of the country due to the cost of living the same thing happens in London compared to other parts of the uk due to their cost of living these are all things that already happen but don’t worry once a United ireland does happen it will all get sorted out
