Thanks for watching this video. Leaving a "like" would be really good of you if you would : ) Also I do Contradict myself saying that a full face lid will not go in" But in fact by the end of the loan I just about got it to go!! (with a bit of "slight" seat bending mind) Thanks for watching my review ....E.R

Looks like a great value little commuter Exmouth and 65 mph ( possibly 60 ACTUAL mph ? ) is decent enough for most people's commuting needs. I would be happy enough with one of these if I ever needed to commute for work. Thanks for another thorough review Exmouth 👍🏻 Cheers matey, El Outro and Roby

@@exeterrider Yes. You would imagine that being a CVT it will be happy to do that speed all day long. I imagine that it is well within the bikes maximum theoretical revs. So as a commuter on fast roads you can just keep it pinned at 65 ( indicated ) and hope there isn't too much of a headwind. I think it is exactly fast enough for the job it is intended to do. Sinnis seem to really think about what they are doing when speccing their bikes. I like them a lot !

I am impressed with that Sinnis. I could see myself selling the car and buying that Sinnis for doing the shopping if I still lived in the UK. I now live in Thailand and small motorbikes and scooters rule. I have a few motorbikes including a Honda Scoopy 110cc twist and go like the Sinnis but looks like a vespa but more reliable and cheap at 50,000 baht => £1,300 new on the road with 3 year warranty. The storage space under the seat is useful for shopping (bigger on Scoopy than that Sinnis) and there is a hook on the front to hang shopping and you can always keep more shopping between your feet on the floor pan. I recommend changing the oil every 3,000 miles max and the Honda's will easily do 60,000 plus miles without problems; not sure about that Sinnis. We might mock these Chinese motorbikes but we did the same with the Japanese in the early 70's and now they are deemed the best for quality and hence reliability.

Couldnt find a tunnel that day (plus it would sound good on video lol) My take on it is HGVs are restricted to 57ish so I thought but most 125s will hit 59 at least so got to be careful and pick your slot....not pleasent on a 125 but doable. Thanks SB🙂:-D

A nifty little tool, ER. Are you tempted? Much thrashing on the motorway will probably reduce the fuel consumption to a measly 100mpg.

I dont understand why people would decide to get a scooter over a small CC motorcycle. I have multiple motorcycles, and they are all verry in CC... from my YZF-R125 to my Ninja 600 to my Turbo Hyabusa (don't get a Hyabusa it will kill you) 😅😂 Getting yourself a slightly faster 125cc like the R125 that has a top speed of 85-90 MPH is definitely more fun and slightly safer in situations where you would need that extra power to get out a sticky situation. Although a 300-600cc Maxi scooter, I could see the appeal for delivery riders or even older riders who just want to get around the city. Idk I'll love to hear your thoughts.
@Banditmanuk
@Banditmanuk Жыл бұрын
@TH3 BRITISH A small scooter is just twist and go throttle, no gears. So easy in town and storage under the seat. Easy to operate and cheap. Ride in some European cities, and they are everywhere, usually ridden by folks in casual or work gear.
@exeterrider
@exeterrider Жыл бұрын
@@th3british169 much the same as what bandit said... Some people just prefer scooters. Having the storage underneath is beyond handy and means you don't have to carry your helmet around.... On one of my old scooters I could fit 2 helmets underneath. So used to carry my told to work as well. Some people just want a easy life with no gears.... That would bore me but for some it wouldnt. I recently meet a scooter Rider who was dispraxic and the only way he could get in the road was with a scoot, so it makes sense for some. 👍

@@exeterrider I get nervous when I do something wrong which is not often........... enough about that, I know all the ladies that I have been around the last 18 years and never saw them pregnant. So I am good. As for your show. You know the electronics and technology, so now it's just what you know. Be yourself and enjoy the time. Have 1 drink before and maybe do a good walk that morning. Your not playing with people that paid for a seat. Even then, your human. Really enjoy your videos of messing up, those are the best. Just enjoy the show and stop working on it the night before. Sunday comes and you have done the work. I smoke a pipe now and this hobby has been one of the best additions to my life in the past. It's not an easy hobby by the way. Each pipe and each tobacco smokes different. I even bought a journal book to write my findings. This tobacco thing is the same as lives on YT, each time is different. Just pack the bowl, sit down and use your talents that you have. I only wish you lived closer, I would help and I would ask you how to edit video. I have the equipment, but not the skill. Remember, we watch you as a person, don't forget that. This might all be a waste to read, but it made me want a drink and a pipe! Wait, I already have a drink, and just got back from my back yard which is a beach. 😂 if you want ideas, willing to assist in any part, just don't ask me technology questions.
@exeterrider
@exeterrider Жыл бұрын
Yes, you make some good points there...I think I will go in with just bullet points on this one perhaps. I gave up smoking 7 years ago but smoking a pipe really appeals!!! but I know what will happen even with a wiff of smoke then I would be away again! Editing is very frustrating in the beginning but you would be ok with some guidance. A decent webcam, cellphone and editing programme is all you need....although a powerful pc does go a long way too.
@BlakesPipes
@BlakesPipes Жыл бұрын
@@exeterrider I gave up smoking 15 or so years ago. Pipe smoking is shown to not be addictive. You don't inhale and I don't get the nerve to go smoke. It's just a hobby. Some days 10 pipes, many days with just one and even a week or month has gone by. I own all the equipment and have a nice editing computer. If I don't do it every day, I lose what I learned just like everything hard in life. I am a perfectionist to my standards. My idea of what the channel will have that others don't. I also am glad I haven't started, as I would have been fired from my job, destroyed my ex wife's dating relationships, had people showing up at my house and other issues. People would watch those videos as they would be entertained. Exeter! Enjoy your weekend. It's Monday soon.

Really interesting bike, the helmet size might make a difference so you were probably right on all accounts 😂 but not sure I'd want to potentially scratch up my helmet!! Thought companies could at least do a little more research on this! The 300 miles and 1800 is terrible! I thought 3k on donkey was too short! Thinking of your fancy for an occasional trailbike... I wonder how it compares to the Honda Innova? Ive seen those on the lanes and on the Lands End Trial and they go amazingly well offroad! 😳 I have to say, i wouldnt be afraid to buy Sinnis after watching the exploits of Helene on 'Old Wild and Free', they beat that little 125 to bits both in the Devon Lanes and all across Morocco (and home again). Oooo very torn now. Was thinking of a Honda Vision 110 next and as a keeper family scoot. This is about a grand cheaper with the same large wheels and seat height and more power. On the other hand, dealers, service intervals and about 25kg heavier. Considering general consensus that a Vision will last till a nuclear war as long as you change the oil and once a decade replace a part, I think I may just dig deeper and buy Honda. Very useful to see it on dual carriage ways and motorways cos you never know. Maybe I'll ride it to next years Social Ride😂 Oh, meant to say the Sinnis is very similar to the Vision. If you just want it to learn and the weight isn't an issue, the Sinnis is the best bet.

Good review of the Sinnis. I would certainly consider one for my daily commute and shopping trips when I dont want to tog up and get my motorcycle out. The main thing that makes the Sinnis a no go is there isnt any Sinnis dealers even remotely local to me. Are you going to test the new Suzuki scooters? Suzuki have priced them to compete with the chinese brands. I've only seen one video on the new Address and Avensis although I did see the bikes at the NEC last year. Keep up the scooter reviews

Nice video and equally nice little scooter. However that 60+ mph is not what this scooter is capable of. GPS (true speed) is max more like 55-57 mph tops. Scooters are notorious for ridiculously over-reading speeds. Many are more than 15% optimistic. You cannot defeat physics. It has 9.6 hp. However light it is you are not going to get more than around 55 mph flat and possibly 60 mph on a long downhill section with a following wind, assuming there is no rev limiter.
@exeterrider
@exeterrider 10 ай бұрын
Yeap, only indicated is all I can give people, no speedo is right and always optimistic as we know. Kinda normal 125 speed can be expected here. Although bikes like the sh 125 can get a little more with the extra horse power.
