IF Sinnis did a 250cc or 350cc version, I WOULD buy one. I'm a 35 year, all weather seasoned biker (have ridden hundred plus bikes in my time, and owned 30, 40 bikes from 50cc scoots to a Suzuki RF900R and ZX10, custom, trials, all sorts - have loads of fun and funny stories hahaha), so yeah, as a 2nd 'Muckabout' bike yeah, I would. It'd take me back to my days riding a KMX125 & 200, KLR250 and 650 - had LOADSAFUN... WOOOOOHOOOO! hahahaha Have followed you since the days of 'Demonstrating how to pick your ignition 😉' too, all great videos. All the best to you and Reno! 👌👍😎🇬🇧

I would guess it is the bolts in the pillion hand grab holes on both sides.

One thing I did for my floppy lever on my Sinnis Terrain ( you should check them out Spicy, theyre very big and comfy, you'd like em) is I made a DIY washer cut out of a plastic takeaway box, works a treat! if its too thick or thin, just get a different bit of flat plastic. Easy enough in this day and age!

Yer I always wondered if a brass shim washer would be the trick.

Nice looking bikes and great review. I wish I had spent a little more and got one of these, instead of my little Bluroc Legend. As nice as the Bluroc looks - it's only about 11.5HP - and three more HP would make a huge difference with my fat backside on it!

Got the 2017 one love it but the front break on mine is just awful my Hondas is amazing light to pull and breaks hard where my sinnis I can pull hard and it doesn’t really stop that fast

just had my first service on my sm-r 125 at 600 miles, after this it felt like a new bike, so much better, better power delivery and rides a lot nicer in general.. I want to change my exhaust, however I don't know what would fit the 32 inch pipe? also, if you have taken the exuast off you will see OMG the bike is restricted, the whole exhaust is one giant muffler lol..

Surprised the SM is 140kg, about same as crf300L but smaller engine and fuel tank. I'd like it to be more like 115kg.

Nice review. I had the UM Scrambler S with the full power 15hp water cooled Aprillia engine and same type of speed. Turned out a lot of the power restriction was controlled by sprocket size. A quick change added around 10mph. Maybe the same here?

I think a sprocket change could really help here yes defo.

How do you think this would be for a heavy rider? (5’10, 140kg)

Hey Spicy thanks for the reviews, helped me alot in deciding to go for this bike for my first one.Having a lot of fun on it, almost 300 miles on it in 4 days! Just a quick question, on my bike the throttle has a bit of a dead zone at the very start of the throttle and feels quite chinsy and loose, has quite a bit of play in it. Did you experience this with your bike? (sorry if you covered the throttle in your videos i may of missed it)
@spicy110
@spicy110 2 жыл бұрын
There is an adjuster on the throttle cable, top end, tighten it up a bit but make sure there is a little free play otherwise you will lose engine braking.

This is an issue mine had, regardless of slack in the cable. Shortly after the ECU is fried. The stuttering was an ecu problem. currently in an argument with the company i bought it from about getting my money back.224 miles on the clock. Whats worse is the garage kept calling me a liar and i couldn't know what's wrong, it cant be an ECU problem. Bike eventually went back after a lengthy argument. And the ECU is fried. I'm a bike tech by trade. go figure i'd know what was wrong with it :')

@@demonize999 I had mine adjusted with its first service and it feels alot better now. Engine runs alot smoother and less sputtery. Hopefully i dont see the same issue. My family has bought bikes from my seller for many years so i dont think ill have much of an issue when it comes to warranty/ guarantee.

@@mathewlake9464 So the bike went back for repair. Had new clocks, new ecu, i believe a new ignition and potentially a few other bits. 50 miles, and exactly the same issue! Bike starts without a key in, and splutters, and it will progress to a fried ecu if we were to carry on trying to use it but we've dumped it back on the drive and won't touch it again. the company we purchased this from is biking direct and they're purposely trying to stop us from sending the bike back. very poor customer service.
