A bit of advice for those who are struggling with this move because their wrists/arms are less flexible - the trick to pulling off this move is to keep your arm relaxed and twist your body to the left as you swing the lightsaber behind you. This will give you the space and momentum to complete the spin even if your wrist isnt flexible. Hope this helps! Took me a long time going through the move in slow motion before I finally figured out how to make it possible as I have very stiff wrist.

Advice: when you are starting out, move your shoulder, move your body if you have to. Make sure you flow with the saber. Make your shoulder lead the saber. Once you get better, you can begin to stop move your shoulder more and more until you can do it while you are completely stable.

Do you have bones? If so, there’s your problem. If you want permanent removal, I’d suggest surgery. Most people prefer to keep their bones, and if you do too, then I’d suggest just breaking your arm and your wrist. Once you’ve successfully done the trick, just get a cast. Simple as that.
@laurensniessen93556 жыл бұрын

If you are having trouble, it could be because your lightsaber or whatever you are using is not top-heavy enough. For example, a lacrosse stick is a lot easier to do this with because a majority of its weight is at the head. The weight at the top allows the stick to pick up speed faster and build up more momentum. I recommend using a lacrosse stick if you have one.

Usama Bin Muzaffar im having issues as well. XD ive nearly got it, still sloppy but ive found you have to work with your shoulders and elbow as well? I personally keep hitting my leg >_> but yeah. I first started practicing with a larp weapon but the blade was too heavy for me to spin it properly.

Mine keeps leaning down. 3) At 1:03, how did you make that spin from the back to the front of your body so smooth and circular? Mine keeps going diagonal. Thanks!

There are some great videos on KZbin, the one I used to learn it was actually a ten year old in his living room but he explained it best.
