What about a Forget Me Now challenge? I.e., when a player gets hit, the current floor is restarted. The R key brings the player back to the easiest levels of the game, meaning that it would be very easy to accumulate a lot of items by simply redoing the easiest bosses. Restarting the floor keeps the currently reached level of challenge while still punishing the player for getting hit. It makes the remaining path shorter of course. But at least it prevents from the (unintentional) farming on easy bosses.

QOD: isn’t this actually easier than a regular run? You could just keep replaying the first two floors and getting devil deals over and over until you are guaranteed to win? Shouldn’t it be called “the R key easy mode” and not challenge?

The ideea is to try to not get hit not to farm items

@@yzxz9012but there’s no punishment, only reward for being hit. Getting hit in the later levels with few good items is infinitely more punishing and challenging than returning to the easier levels.

This is easier than a regular run, but it also forces you to hitless. Eventually you will, as long as time isn't a factor, which makes this a super approachable challenge and good for a low commitment one-off. It's only a matter of time until you're strong enough to hitless.

Sin if you have really bad shin splints you need to strengthen your tibialis muscles, try walking backwards on a treadmill or doing standing tibialis raises against a wall

Unfortunately Spin dizzle skips items you haven't unlocked yet. I found that out very quickly when I was exited seeing bot fly (which spins down in I believe Death Certificate), because when I used Spin Dizzle it spon down to a completely different item😢 But... that's Isaac Baby!

4:24 could sound ridiculous,but lacriphragy (or whatever the hell its called),traisagion and crickets body would do more damage because of the boss armor negation and burst damage. (C section,Sacred Heart and Mom's knife would still be way safer to use as tainted lost thought because of the homing)

Day 380 of asking Sin for a Fiend Folio run called Fiendish Firsts! But considering Sin seems to be Fiend Foliod out maybe he can try "Boss Butch" adds a bunch of new bosses who aren't completely unfair and for something very unique try "The future" mod adds a new floor with custom enemies and bosses and the boiler adds a third alternative for dross and downpour again with unique enemies and bosses! Maybe add the stranger mod adds a character that is more than a dozen in one!

Hi sinvicta! Fairly new to the mosh pit and Isaac. I saw a video about baby plum and if you don’t shoot her or get hit by her for a period of time she just waves and leaves and you the win the boss fight. Also with I think it’s Bumbeeno, forgive me as said new to Isaac (can already see the comments “lol newb”) the boss that will collect coins, if you give him a certain amount of coins he’ll leave. Is that true or have I seen a troll video? If it is true how come you don’t utilise that technic ?

Sooo.. did you think the R key challenge is just a Lost run or..? It literally says "R key challenge" and if you use the R key, you reset your floor progress, but you keep your items. What would be the point if he just lost everything on hit? Thats just sounds like a worse version of the Lost to me.

He did do an R/Genesis style run at one point…. Think of when he gets the D100 and gets Space bar happy, but he isn’t in charge of the Space Button so he kinda hates everything.
