I'm guessing the soy milk damage multiplier had an effect on things which is why damage didn't go up much or at all after taking it.

Yup, that was my take. When he went to dark judas and killed those enemies it went up like .13 or something like that. That's a direct effect of soy milk.

At 34:10 the razor blade removes the crown of light buff, so that's why you weren't getting a ton of damage to break the cap.

The amount of times I see orbitals save this mans run only for him to trash talk them like they are a bad item is wild to me. No they aren't stats but they do block damage several times in the same room without you needing to even think about it. 3 orbitals and you are borderline damage immune from enemy shots

I just wanna say this. Dad’s ring and ancient recall pretty much don’t show up. I’ve seen so many Isaac videos after repentance came out and it seems that with all the different cards they added it just doesn’t appear anymore. I’m starting to think its spawn chance also deliberately decreases at some point in the game. Dad’s ring is a very mid item, but if you had it on tainted maggy I’d imagine it would do very well. It’s just one of the secret room items I never see anymore.

despite having rock bottom, even before picking up soy milk, the soy milk damage down multiplier still tanks your damage a ton. i wish this wasn’t a mechanic, rock bottom should negate negative stat multipliers in my opinion. side note: i believe the razor blade didn’t work because you hadn’t killed anything in the curse room for lusty blood to proc and raise your floor to enable the damage from the razor blade, as well as crown of light turning off in the curse room which lowered your real damage stat behind the rock bottom cap. it’s still important to have crown of light active with rock bottom, or else surpassing your rock bottom ceiling will be impossible

Question (Balatro crossover)- what would your joker ability be in balatro? Suggestion: Given 'classic Sinvicta luck', I think it should flip the probabilities on all lucky cards. Instead of a 1:4 chance of a proc, it would be 3:4. Maybe it's too much like Oops! All 6's but a play on Sinvicta navigation or luck would be really cool imo.

SATURDAY SUMMARY TODAY! "Let's go with a Rock Bottom start and let's just see." Oh, it's gonna be like that then. Starting off with Death's List and Lusty Blood, as well as Mercurius thanks to Eden's Blessing, we have a run well fought. Good game! Pack it up, we're done here. Starting stats aren't great except the movement speed, but who cares? We got freakin' Rock Bottom, and we IMMEDIATELY followed it up with Soy Milk. Shortly thereafter of course Crown of Light makes another appearance, good god. Interestingly, we didn't get a single damage increase until the Victory Lap, which really sucks, but the synergy with Lusty Blood and Rock Bottom carried us away. Adding the Holy Light onto it was instrumental, and only got better when we later picked up the Perfection trinket. What made this run really interesting was Lacrophagy, and what made it unbelievably powerful was Kidney Stone. With Kidney Stone + Soy Milk we hit the maximum hard cap tear rate of 120, which is not something you see often. Something something Jasonator53's Repentance Eden Run Dunk Rating, today is going to be another 9! Again, Death Certificate and/or Rock Bottom mandate a 9 as a minimum, but if you want an idea of what a 10 looks like, go watch the 1000th episode. WELL worth the watch. An 11 is the highest we can go, and it is reserved for an Omega Run, or a crashed game. AND NOW IT IS TIME FOR YOUR WEEKLY SATURDAY SUMMARY!!! Sunday: GUPPOLYPHEMUS - d100 gives us Polyphemus, Bookworm, Guppy, Twisted Pair - 8 Monday: The BEST Combo for GODHEAD! - God Head + Eye of Belial, Cricket's Head, Sausage, Magic Mushroom, Sacred Heart - 9 Tuesday: STRENGTH THROUGH SACRIFICE - White Pony, great start, Sanguine Bond goes crazy, Brimstone, Jacob's Ladder - 8 Wednesday: 1000 - Cannot be summed in a single list of items, this run was immaculate, and only stopped short of Omega Run. Assumption: you have 10 damage - pick up rock bottom, it saves that you have 10 damage - pick up soy milk, your actual damage is 2, you stay at 10 - pick up crown of light, doubling your damage to 4. You stay at 10 If you had gotten crown of light before soy milk, it would stay at 20. In this case, most of sins damage was temporary. Lusty blood before soy milk put it up to 8.68. But getting soy milk just means you need to get 5x your current damage to increase it again. Crown of light "only" doubles it

rock bottom locks in your highest stats ever, but won't lock in damage multipliers, that why crown of light has 2x damage multiplier won't increase the damage because of soymilk has reduced the damage multiplier by 0.2x so it doesn't go past the starting damage

Most people would rather have a 40-50min video than a 20min run. They mostly just exist to see how strong a run can get / if you can find any super interesting combos, otherwise yea you know the outcome. That's why sin has been doing run -> greed run recently instead of doing victory runs all the time.
