The Spider Mod Report: Day 77 Today’s run often looked bleak. No significant tears upgrades, questionable Isaac physics, blank devil deals, a single movement speed upgrade, and no damage upgrades until later in the game. But Restock showing up early making the big time plays really helped Sin squeeze out that victory. And, as bad as this run may have been at times, I knew from the beginning we’d be ok. You know why? Because we finally got another Spider Mod appearance in the very first shop! Him just being there made me realize it was all going to be okay, and he understands that today was not his day. Hopefully that just means there will be room on the team and the absolute to acquire him next time! Hope you’re all doing amazing today 😊 Days since Sinvicta last had Spider Mod: 24 Spider Mod appearances since last taken: 4! Friendly reminder that Spider Mod is your buddy (who makes a mean smoothie, I hear) and he loves you like Sissy does (even if it’s just in his programming) :D

The fact that your family was watching yesterday's premiere is so dang wholesome! Regarding the greedier run: I don't want you to do one, not because I don't like watching it, but I'm just too afraid of a streak loss :/ Have you looked at the "easter egg seeds"? There are quite a few which pose an additional challenge while not preventing achievements/streak progression. For example, there is one which locks boss room doors once you've beaten the boss. Maybe you could do some of those for the next streak goal!

I was thinking the next like streak goal could be a full-clear run where you have to complete every room - i.e. no skipping with bombs or Emperor cards. But if you do choose to skip a room to avoid putting the streak at risk, then you take a random pill or blind item as payment. Love the series btw, been watching everyday for almost a year now which just feels crazy. Thanks Sinvicta, keep it up!

Idea for a like streak run: limited items. Either like 1-2 items per floor; or a set number total for the whole run. So if it was like 15 items total you could take 5 items for the first 3 floors but then that’d be it

Day 6 of documenting my home brew kombucha journey: Today was the third day of the undisturbed first fermentation. I still haven’t tasted or moved the tea. I did, however, take the cheesecloth off to check the surface and I saw a couple things of note. First, Cynthia the mother SCOBY is folded over and floating near the surface, and she looks noticeably thicker then she did at the beginning of the ferment! And second, I saw a thin tendril thing that looks like the beginning of a new SCOBY! It also is starting to have a very pleasant, slight vinegary smell! Can’t wait to taste test at the end of the week! See youse guys tomorrow and stay funky!

About Greedier mode... Yeahhh I agree. Challenges or special quriky 'modifiers' to your pkaystyle are fun. Even challenging ones. But with Greedier, personally, I don't want something that could just easily dunk the streak. I know there's always a chance you start with Isaac's heart and one soul heart and gg, but that's the nature of the game. Greedier amplifies the feast or famine gameplay, but lopsidedly boosts famine up. Plus I think the normal gameplay loop is way better than greed mode.

luuϻe I won’t necessarily be doing that, it’s more of saying which item carried the hardest in the long run. Restock carried the hardest because it gave him the ability to access BFF Incubus for double damage, it gave him mapping, and a lot of additional effects

Day 123 of commenting about my video game adventures: Majora's Mask (Day 4): I took the Deku princess back to the Palace and she scolded her father for torturing the monkey. They told me they had a reward for me, so I followed Dampe through his grave .... I mean I followed the Deku scrub through the shrine to be rewarded a random mask. I also brought all the stray fairies from the temple back to the fountain to be rewarded with the charge Spin attack!

Day 181 of Touring with Sinvicta: First difference of the day comes from not taking Papa Fly on floor 1. He had gotten me killed thanks to shooting a bomb at me a couple runs back, so he was on a bit of a timeout. Bombing the keeper in the secret room paid out with a very surprising Steam Sale. The keeper in the shop then paid out with a dime and a nickel. What is happening? I didn’t have enough bombs to fish for Diplopia so I bought The Coupon, Habit, 9 Volt, Hive Mind and There’s Options instead. The Coupon paid out huge. My boss item was Roid Rage over Little Steven. To finish off it’s floor 1 super MVP performance, a final Coupon use (bad damage and Habit) gave me PHDizzle. What a floor 1. Sorry Sinvicta. For Floor 2, I was able to buy both Incubus and Lil Brimmy thanks to the Coupon and taking
