I enjoyed this video and went and watched the walk around videos for this and your blue one! Lovely old cars. I had a later 340 1.7 in wheely bin grey! It would be nice to have another one day but these early ones seem pretty rare now. Thanks for some interesting videos!

Sion Hudson I miss my Volvo 345 which was graphite grey and an f-reg it was my first car and it sadly became a nuisance I had it from 1998 until 2006 then I got a Vauxhall Corsa which was not as nice and my Volvo 340 .

Really enjoy these videos Sion and ive said in a comment in one of your other videos, super nostalgic for me as my first car when I was 19 was a light blue 1980 345DL 😊 Also, i like that you appreciate and acknowledge the age of these cars, i normally try to achieve obsessive perfection with my cars, so yours is a new concept to me that I haven’t appreciated until now😀🇸🇪

You may be equally amused and horrified to hear then that I fitted one of those rubber spoilers (a la early 360 GLT) on the boot lid 😂 Unsurprisingly the struts weren’t strong enough to hold the boot up. Thereafter, for the rest of its existence, the boot had to be held up with an old wooden walking stick of my dad’s 😂

With the doors if you spray up to the trim line it will be a lot less noticeable.

It's hard to watch this .. the continual "eh" and "um" just for me - make it unwatchable. Look at those channels that get a lot of views. Confident talking to camera with a microphone. No "eh" or "um" - if you can't stop doing it, it will require editing and practice. The info is good. But the narration is not for me. I mean this as constructive criticism. All the best ! I had a Volve 343 DL ( If I remember correctly ). It was surprisingly quick. Some numpty at the Volvo dealership jacked it up on the flat plate under the rear differential and it continually leaked. Of course they denied everything. But I stood my ground and they finally fixed it. Most comfortable car.
