I always have the biggest smile on my face every time I watch Mama Lulu and Apple's cooking videos! I've said it before and I'll say it again, your videos are like virtual warm hugs! So simple and comforting! And I'm so happy Ate Apple is a regular in the channel now! Yaaay! Growing up in the Philippines this was one of my favorite Christmas/birthday "handa"! I never really knew what it's called until now! Sipo!!! Back then I'd just ask my mom for that dish that has cream, shrimp, quail eggs, carrots & peas! And from what I recall they use to put in diced turnips (singkamas) in this dish as well - I guess it's for the texture just like what Ate Apple mentioned about incorporating sweet corn! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe! P.S. Pininyahang Manok next? Love you guys! Happy holidays!!!
