For example, that SAME episode, she stated she was trying to find a card for their 43rd anniversary of the first time they held hands. Meaning Barbie is the type of girl to celebrate and and remember EVERY moment they shared as a couple. First hand holding, first date, first kiss, first night call, etc. Literally after she said that, she states she couldn't find a card that held that anniversary, so she shows she made a personal card for said anniversary that even includes music, meaning like Ken, she goes out of her way to make him something personal if she can't find something that truly expresses her love for him. This was during the time when it was more common for men to buy and spoil their gfs while their gfs in return would praise them for everything and anything. Ken would be there for Barbie while she in return would do what most girls did back then: Tell them how much she loved him, never say he was stupid or being unreasonable or corny, always was super supportive of whatever ideas he had and give advice without criticizing him, trying to look the prettiest for him for their dates, always being excited for said dates, etc. In the show even shows that even tho Barbie is rich and is the girl that has everything, she loves even the simplest gifts Ken gives her, examples: Giving her a small box of her favorite chocolates from childhood, a small bouquet of her favorite flowers and a personalized card for her (Like how she made for him) or for her birthday, he got her a charm bracelet and she was absolutely thrilled cuz she always wanted one. Then in one episode, she was frantic to get him the perfect gift because he always gave her the perfect gifts for their anniversaries and she wanted to spoil him for once. So the show has the running gag that Ken was the golden retriever boyfriend and Barbie was the girlfriend that was absolutely head over heels with him, even if it showed Ken doing more cuz there was an episode that addressed that: he doesn't have a job because being Barbie'a BF WAS his job. If that makes sense, idk?
