kinda sad you can't put in more than 1 door.. i would love to set it up where you have to from a row of GP offices just behind reception to get into the rest of the hospital. Wish they had more of a sandbox mode with this.

Never understand it when these games start selling themselves to streamers before they're available. Had this game been out now when I watched this I would have already bought it and been playing right now. But since it's not out til August 30th, I'll buy something else and forget about this game, and on the 30th probably buy some other game that actually can align its availability with its hype properly. Oh well.

That's what he means, the hype is built through these early demo versions but then the game doesn't release for like another month or two. I'm in the same boat as op, I went to go buy this game on Steam but now I'll just forget about it or decide I don't want to spend the £22 when it comes out in a week.

I get why they do it, and honestly like it this way. I get to see how the game plays and if I’ll like it snd what to expect, , maybe that takes away an element of surprise and mystery but I only watch a few episodes... just to get a gist of the game play and problems the game may have, things that I might expect it to have and it doesn’t, but I won’t be disappointed cause I’ll already know about it cos of youtubers and streamers posting videos and reviews before official public release. For me, a person who loved theme hospital from a child, the hype will never leave til I play this just broadens it if I’m honest but I can see it from people who maybe didn’t get the opportunity to play the amazing game , that still plays very well and has aged very well to this day, that is theme hospital.

@ben jeffrey All hospitals in USA are for-profit private companies as opposed to subsidized or state ran hospitals in countries with single-payer healthcare. Sure privately ran clinics also exist there but they usually deal with more of a beauty side of medicine - plastic surgeons etc, with a much more wealthy clientele so they're incentivized to splurge money on good interiors. When you're running a hospital and are focused on making money rather than efficiently curing people while making their stay there pleasant the priorities usually shift.

He was being melodramatic on purpose for comedic effect. You can tell from his tone of voice, and the fact that he lets go of his 'anger' immediately after the 'rant'. He's actually a really chill guy and even when things do go wrong, it's pretty funny to watch. You should check out his Prison Architect gameplay.

The story is long. Move your hands and play the game quickly. You do not have to read the explanation carefully from beginning to end. A waste of time. Time is too long.
