This arrangement is by DrJekyll years ago. Since this one already existed I decided to use his arrangement. However, some passages were almost unplayable at the tempo marking, without slowing down the piece I made adjustments to better suit my hands. Everything pretty is left intact too. Easily one of the most enjoyable pieces I have played in a long time.
As promised, here is my latest piano cover on Sir Alonne from Dark Souls II. Firstly, Sir Alonne sounds vey similar to Lady Maria, Dark Souls III Main Theme, and Lorian and Lothric. Initially, I thought Yuka Kitamura composed Sir Alonne since it holds a heavy resemblance to Kitamura's composition style.

If There is anything you need to experience from Dark Souls 2 it is this theme. Alonne is easily my favorite boss in the game due to the atmosphere and emotion you feel when fighting him. Hearing his song played on a live piano brings even more life to it, thank you. ^_^

I know it's a bit late, but still... any chance you can upload sheet music for this piece somewhere, please? original link leads to nowhere and I searched up the whole web trying to find that arrangement and did not succed. I really love that exact arrangement and want to learn it, but I can't without sheet music. I hope this comment will reach you, someday...

@@UprisingGrand I know what you are talking about, the link on external site from that video isn't containing any sheets, there are just names of the songs and empty links - when you click on them, it redirects you to starting webpage, but for some reason you still are able to download MIDI files, which is kinda not the thing I need. I wouldn't leave this comment if I could just easily find it on YT. Maybe you have it saved on your hard drive, perhaps?..

I'm so confused and dunno what I'm doing wrong. Can I ask you a favor? If you're saying that it works fine for you perhaps you can upload it somewhere? Dropbox, MEGA, whatever? I know it's a bit too much to ask, but I really-really-really need this sheet music, damn I'd even buy it if I could, I swear. So, can you do it for me? For sir Alonne and his polished floor? :)

If you love this stuff as much as i do, you should try looking for piano covers from the band Opeth. There's a guy who did a whole piano cover album dedicated to them, Nikola Cvetkovic is his name. Look for him, you won't regret it!

Alonne is my favorite boss from DS2. I just love the atmosphere and the honourable fight whith a true eastern warrior.

Ah, yes. This was the first piece Yuka Kitamura wrote, then she did some for Bloodborne (Lady Maria mainly), and then the entirety of Dark Souls III's soundtrack and now she's doing Sekiro. This does sorta sound like Slave Knight Gael on piano and I never quite realized it until now.

She did quite a lot of the Dark souls II tracks, and apparently she did some Elden Ring tracks too. Couldn't hear her in Elden Ring though, normally her tracks stand out quite a lot from the other titles. In a good way of course.

She worked on DS2 soundtrack since the beginning, together with Motoi Sakuraba. Some bosses OST's such as The Pursuer, Old Dragonslayer and Velstadt were made by Kitamura.

This piece feels like it shares quite a bit with Gael's theme... was that your choice, or is that just how the original OST goes? I can't quite remember, considering that I never actually played DS2. Either way, it's great to see you back.

This is one of the best versions of Sir Alonne in piano I’ve ever heard though I still have an attachment to Lil Mochida’s version. But seriously amazing way in playing Sir Alonne’s theme.

UprisingGrand You’re welcome, UprisingGrand your covers are in my opinion are one of the most amazing and well done covers its not only that I’am fan of your work just because of Dark Souls or Bloodborne but I enjoy the other games pieces your playing as well one of them is Nier and a couple of Kingdom Hearts ones I was that much of a fan of the game because I didn’t what the game was I was thinking about an anime with Disney characters technically in my mind tpnow that I know about the game (somewhat) I’am starting to like it actually speaking of which they have a new game release of the new Kingdom Hearts. Side note: I’am rushing you really I really wait a lot its just that I have bad timings like it was already uploaded because I have school running my hands I’am about to be at my 4th year now graduating just took my NCAE damn does it itch. I have plans all different from each other like planning to be an animator, Musician, and a Paleontologist and if possible Historian or Author or Manga writer (Comicbook writing in general to make things easy) how’s it going with Ebrietas, Daughter of Cosmos or was that Micolash I barely remember the last comment since.... Ludwig was it if I recall? But keep up the good work!

I wish that you would see this comment, cuz I'm really curious about what you think of the dissonances in this. I feel they were more prominent in this maybe because of the pedal work? Im excited to listen to the original and see if theyre in there as well. Maybe they add to the intensity and drama of the original too!

Hmm, I'm not so much a fan of this one. I think it's the lower pitched chords I dislike, a little too low for my liking. It's a good arrangement though, it's just the pitch preventing me from enjoying it to the full.
