Thousands of fans lined the streets around Old Trafford on Monday to pay tribute to former Manchester United great Sir Bobby Charlton, who died in October at the age of 86.
Sir Bobby's funeral procession wound its way past United's stadium en route to Manchester Cathedral, where the former 'Red Devils' and England star will be laid to rest.
In 758 appearances for United, Sir Bobby scored 249 goals and led the team to three league titles, a European Cup triumph in 1968 and an FA Cup, as well as winning the World Cup with England in 1966.
Sir Bobby passed away on 21st October following a fall at the nursing home where he was receiving care for dementia.
