Sir Edward Elgar - Mina The "Mina" of the title of this piece was the name of Elgars cairn terrier, one of the dogs who became the focus and love of Elgar's life after the death of his wife Alice. The piece itself is quite charming and is played here by the Northern Sinfonia of England, conducted by Richard Hickox.
