A Knight who trains a Dragon to fend for herself, then she becomes the new Hero of the Kingdom, that's a nice twist to an other wise cliché of a set up for a story.

The voice acting is really impressive especialy for George. I'm such a sucker for stories about kinghts befriending dragons instead of slaying them!! Great job on this!! The animation is very smooth and the art style of Escalon feels like she should be a character in Spyro!! Makes me happy!!

No problem! Ideally I would've explained this in the animation itself, but I had to cut a lot of stuff out and unfortunately this was one of them. I didn't think it was too plot critical and thought it could stand on "she just did" but it's understandable that some people would find this confusing. So I'm happy to explain. :)

I like stories where it's not "The Big Bad Evil Horrible Dragon of Death and Destruction", but instead the dragon has it's own life, and when you sit down and think about it, the dragon isn't evil. It's just conflict of interest. When I was younger, I read a book series where the story was from the viewpoint of a dragon-family. Of course, it had a villain. An evil emperor who wants to rid the world of magical creatures.

@@PowerOptix Well, the author is norwegian. And as far as I know, none of the books are in english... But the first book is called "Drageblod og Blå safir" (Dragonblood and blue saphire) by Jon Ewo. Dunno if it helps. It's kind of a book series for children.

Okay, a pretty good story overall. Kind of reminded me a lot of the story of Eragon, and it's preciously what I would do if I were in that situation. I do feel that ending was a little bit forced though, but at least it worked. Nice job.

I won't lie, the ending was a bit weak but I wasn't really sure how to wrap it up nicely, besides Ascalon helping/protecting the kingdom that is, that was always going to be a thing.

You probably could have afforded to make a scene of George and Ascalon talking the king about that, and him approving of it. But since that's highly implied, it's not that big of a loss. It's a great animation though.

There was a lot that had to be cut from the story because of time constraints and because the animation had to be within set time length which was 3 minutes. Even heavily edited I went way over. Also thanks. :)
