Its referring to the accent found in the southern part of America. It's hard to explain culture, but I think its that she was angry enough to drop her more "refined" way of speaking and slip into the accent. Coming back to this after hearing the theory that Two-bit Jerry is actually a terrifyingly competent criminal that uses manipulation to get off scot free gave me a whole new perspective on this show He uses validation to get people to do what he wants, and by playing the fool he constantly validates others and makes them feel better for not being him How is it that when around his "deputy", he fumbles his gun, but while training Cordie he does it so well that she becomes a terrifyingly competent gunslinger? He manipulates Cordie into robbing the bank for him, then plays it off as him getting up to his antics by accident, which Jo FULLY BELIEVES AND LETS HIM OFF FOR Then he CONVINCED DEATH ITSELF to become the Sheriff through the same validation trick There's more layers to this theory but i fucking love it
