I don't remake. I adapt. But no I won't be.

@@GScaleSodor But if you adapt Duck and the Diesel Engine, would you add those three annual stories to it? I mean, the more the merrier.
@GScaleSodor Жыл бұрын
@@joeosnato7200 I've already Adapted D&TDE. I have no interest in stories haphazardly and retroactively inserted into someone else's story, particularly when it ruins the flow.

What kind of carriages is Sir Handel used to? Bogie, smart, new, or all 3?
@GScaleSodor Жыл бұрын
Bogie. Here we're using 'smart' as a synonym, as to Sir Handel they mean the same thing.

@@GScaleSodor What about "new" in the US version?
@GScaleSodor Жыл бұрын
@@joeosnato7200 I'll be as crystal clear as I can possibly be. All US versions of all stories from the Island of Sodor are complete garbage and an afront to my culture. Everything in them is garbage, the delivery of lines is garbage and the fact that they exist irks me on a deeply fundamental level. Not to mention how dumbed down they are. American's speak English, so language isn't the problem. It's the need to paste their accent and words on something that doesn't belong to them. The Island of Sodor is British. Therefore I will NEVER do (or discuss) ANYTHING, that acknowledges the twisted, shallow and unforgivably illiterate US version of a TV show that's already a heinous bootleg of some beloved and truly wonderful books. Books that are as much a part of the British cultural fabric as The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, the works of Beatrix Potter, The Wind in the Willows and so many others. Hearing American accents, American terminology, and worst still the American simplification of eloquent language, in any of those other stories, would be vandalism. The same is true for the works of the Rev.W.Awdry. I love American stories, and wouldn't dream of haphazardly plastering my culture onto them. I have far too much respect for what they are than to entertain a UK version.
@kiwiofthepanda6746 Жыл бұрын
👏👏👏👏 I agree completely! We don't need British versions of the simpsons, family guy or many other American shows. Thank you gscalesodor for keeping it British 😊😊

@@GScaleSodorWhat is your damage, the America dub was made for American audiences. The words were changed cause American children wouldn't know what "trucks" or "bogie coaches" mean, they're used to "cars" and "passenger cars". It's not an insult to your culture it's just different, no need to hate on it because it's different than what your used to.
