Of course CAs take few sessions of training program of IRS officers. Uske baad unko IIMs and foreign universities se faculties bhi training milta h. And after completion of training IRS will be conferred power of Magistrate in Tax Tribunals. Vo log judge ki Tarah kaam krte h. Even income tax inspector level officer is enough to spook CA if he has thorough knowledge of Tax laws. I've seen some CAs literally begging IRS officers and bribing them to settle some cases.

In CA you have to update everything related to day to day activities ...audit , Direct tax , Indirect tax , international finance , law , accounts , cost and management Accounts , subject to each n every notification of councils , boards , govts etc. etc. The subjects I said here splitted into sub- categories like law means Business law , economic law harbour law everything and tax means international taxation , DT , IDT , CUSTOMS , EXCIse so many... besides you have to go for a compulsory practical training of 3 years. Finally I wanna say a CA can Crack IAS easily just by putting 1/10 th effort of CA course but an IAS can't Crack CA.

This is something UPSC and MPSC have misconceptions about CAs. One of my friend from my study liabrary (an UPSC Aspirant) told me that AI is going to replace CAs and we don't need anymore and he was giggling, like making fun out of it. Long back cameraman used to take stunt shots for a movie from helicopters. Now that AI has developed same cameraman has learned how to fly drone and now takes shots from it. Does that mean AI replaces cameraman? If you can't even visualise this then what did you achieve in UPSC / MPSC? We have long way to become TYPE I civilization and yet we are talking about nonsensical questions like "_will AI replace CA?_" And why CA? AI can also replace IPS / IAS then, No need to give prelim, mains or even interview...
