it has been brought to my attention that fertilisation DOES happen in the fallopian tube and my schooling experience and health class failed me. very sorry for the misinformation, i should have checked. if anything though, this does bring to light the fact that we really need to have better sex education and learn more about female anatomy and reproduction. i apologise and i hope you have a good day

I don't think that last person knows how a hymen works. Also: vagnias don't get less tight from having sex. But you know, male fantasies are clearly more important than basic biology.
@mixxuie
@mixxuie 3 жыл бұрын
What’s worse- the reason a less experienced woman with a vagina might feel ‘tighter’ is because of fear / apprehension about the act, as muscles tense due to nerves (including vaginal muscles). So men have been taught that woman are supposed to get hurt their first time having penetrative sex, which is only the case if she is unprepared and nervous. And they are told to prefer the ‘tightness’ of a nervous virgin, and to scorn the ‘looseness’ of a woman who is no longer afraid.

Like, is not right and obviously nobody cares about Draco's pubes. And I just know that all the things they know from female's body is all from porn, I just know that.

@zingakielinska
@zingakielinska 3 жыл бұрын
@@justaweirdartist7902 My interpretation: this trope implies that "regular" woman cannot punch another person because he is too soft, delicate etc. But the punching woman here is not soft and delicate! She acts like a man, therefore is strong and confident! But she is like this only because she was raised with three boys, so they have taught her how to fight for herself (either intentionally or she had to compete with them - but I feel that usually it's implied that brothers do this on purpose, because they are worried about her). So this trope suggests two things about women: 1. Woman cannot be strong and confident just because, she has to have reason behind it - men that make her strong (or some trauma in other tropes). 2. And apparently being strong and confident manifests in acting like a violent man. On a side note I recommend checking out page TV Tropes, it has many many cultural tropes described in detail with a lot of examples in media. It is fascinating and reading articles made me notice various tropes in media. Thanks to that my thoughts and critiques are better, since now I can recognize why exactly some content seems original/ boring/ off - I have the words to describe my feelings.

Just a feat on the "Don't hit your kids or they'll grow up thinking that violence is the answer". I'm from an Asian family that is very traditional, who parents think that hitting their child is ALWAYS the answer, and is the only way to teach them. I remembered when I was 5, being a kid I drew on the wall, my father then used a long ass bamboo stick and hit me for I don't even know how many times while my mother and brother cheering in the background, "hit harder, they said", and then he would me me kneel in front of our doorway for the entire neighbourhood to see (my parents would always retold this story like some victory royale they had over me, a trophy); and that went on till now in my adulthood, like a stick constantly hanging over my head, fearing the pain and humiliation. They'd scream at me a lot too, so now, I'm like a rabbit that'd jumped and flinched every time there a load noise. And just to rant a little, I was the child that always gets ostracized by everyone, and when I come home, tried to seek help and acceptance, they faulted me, thinking I'M the problem, I'M the reason I get bullied. All my life, they never protect me from anything, all they did is protect their reputation, because I will always be a liability. I grew up and in my 20s now, no, I don't think violence is the answer, I just learned to be a coward and cautious towards not just my parents, but everyone, because in my head, if I did or said something wrong, I'll be reprimanded and abused. The only thing I learn from them is fear, is how to hide my true emotions and feelings. So hey, your right though, don't hit your child, because you want them to respect you, not fear you and hide things from you, and messed them up.

Is it weird that whenever I imagine dating a guy I feel so judged and scared that I’m not good enough, or that anytime I wear tight or short clothing he’s going to judge me and try to control me, but when I imagine dating a girl I get this warm feeling in my chest that we would just be chill and in love and she wouldn’t judge me for my body or what I wear and she would tell me that I’m beautiful..... yeah I don’t trust men....😟

@@corynw9496 I am pan and I feel the same way. I like how men look, but their behaviour is getting less and less attractive. I don't trust them at all. There are things I would never let a man do, but I would let a women do... Women can be bad too, but when it's a man, there is thousand of years of misogynistic history behind in and I can't stand it.

tbh rick’s female characters aren’t that great either. I mean why is the only main girl character the one without powers, oh wait she’s sMaRt and she literally puts down any feminine girls which is extremely misogynistic. the only decent girl character is probably reyna (my fav is thalia but she’s kinda really badly written so I rewrote her in my head lol). Plus, obviously his writing in the first series is from the point of a boy so he didn’t have the depth to write annabeth as much other than the annoying smart girl friend and then the smart, useless girlfriend. In theory (in fandom) she could be amazing but she’s not.

Uhhhh CS Lewis wrote some questionable things about female characters in his books. If you're a woman who wears 'too much' makeup you are invariably an evil witch/bitch who needs to be defeated and/or punished. Same story if you're an adult single woman exercising autonomy. Autonomy is fine for little girls who don't know better, but when they grow up they must be attached to a male relative or husband to be seen as 'good' and 'wholesome'.
@danielcopeland3544
@danielcopeland3544 3 жыл бұрын
@@BVBloom ...and I'm afraid that ain't the half of it, if you read some of his earlier works for adults. (Do _not_ read the Ransom trilogy, especially _That Hideous Strength,_ if you treasure your memories of Narnia.) Or most places he touches on gender in his non-fiction essays. Jack may be thinking of Lewis's last full-length work of fiction, _Till We Have Faces,_ by which time he had actually learned some things about how to write women. Though even there, if you go through with a fine-tooth comb, you can find questionable implications about the health benefits of virginity.

1:11 OMFG I KNOW WHAT BOOK THAT IS FROM. It's from an absolutely hilarious book called 50 sheds of grey, it's a parody book of 50 shades of grey (no shit). It's basically about a man and his shed, and it's basically just sex puns and innuendo with bonus shed puns. It's SIGNIFICANTLY better than 50 shades, and any anatomy being bad is very much deliberate because it's taking the piss. It's basically taking the mick out of 50 shades and it's a sweet tale of a man and his shed and it's glorious. Considering the author's surname is grey, I'm guessing it was written out of spite for having to share a name with the original book which is very fair and I salute him for it. Edit it was.

Maybe this is just my anti-privilege showing, but whenever I come across that sort of thing, I'm truly baffled. Like, how hard is it to imagine a world where countless people hate you for simply existing, and knowing that you could be attacked, to varying degrees, without warning. Almost as infuriating as the assholes that say, "Just avoid dangerous places/situations." Yeah, because the fact that someone might just spit at me (or worse) for standing alone in a movie theater lobby is somehow my fault.

@Super Greyflash seek wisdom from rick Riordan ( and trans people of course ) but just think about it like this, trans people are just normal people, apart from they are probably more prone to anxiety etc and people treat them differently, you barely need to mention hat they are trans unless you want a significant moment in your story, and then think about it like a life-defining thing that's happened to you but from their perspective etc. that's my advice anyways

If people are confused about the fallopian tube thingy: fertilization usually happens in the fallopian tube, then the zygote moves into the uterus and implants in the uterine wall. An ectopic pregnancy happens when the zygote accidentally implants in the fallopian tube or somewhere other than the uterus. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)

Don’t remember what study I read it from but this dude was talking about how the heterosexual male lifestyle is really homoerotic and it made so much sense because like men don’t look up to women they look up to other men they overwhelmingly have more male role models and they only think of women as items. Like you said straight men probably don’t know that they’re meant like women it’s pretty wild. Edit: it was written by Marilyn Frye “ The politics of reality” 10/10 would recommend
