I am a Yoruba man and I have all the collections of Oriental Brothers. It's one of the greatest band that has come out of Nigeria. I can sing many of their tracks but don't understand the language. And that is the Hallmark of a very good music

I am yoruba but this man's song especially this one has held me down since childhood. I was given a lovely query in the office because I got to the office late and the reason was the opportunity to own my first cd of this song. I had to drop at oshodi to pick a copy when I heard it from a store.

The Oriental Brothers is the most indefatigable Highlife music band. They were my friends in the late 70s, when I was working in the United Bank For Africa Owerri branch. I was the one managing their two accounts. Every time they performed, l was there for free. Their music almost drove me crazy. I’m really missing them a lot since I’ve been living in the United States. I’m Frank Onyekaba.

I am in London today, listening to many tracks of Oriental Brothers Internacional. What makes it unique is that I am crying, listening to their music, knowing that the singers did not go higher institutions, still what they sang in the early 70's is still the truth of today. I pray that our jornalists will find the remaining living members of thi group and allow them to tell the World who they are. I Love Oriental Brothers Internacional.

I am bawling right now. Why? Just connected for the first time that this song was covered by an artist we hired for my mother's wake. All I can see now is my mom as she lay-in-state so beautiful and the family's guests celebrating a wonderful life truly well lived. Sir Warrior & Mom, hope you are both resting in peace. Mom love you always you are never far from my heart. Happy Valentine's Day. It has been eight dreadfully long years without you but I am being good and living as you taught us. Sorry guys didn't mean to be so sentimental.

@@SurfsydeBuzz01 Haba! Who asked you? Why do you call another person's nation nonsense? That is so heartless and disrespectful. When the Biafrans achieve independence they will remain your African brothers. You can still enjoy good Igbo music. But you have no justification to dishonor Biafra or preach enforced unity to people who do not want to be Nigerians. Biafra will come whether you like it or not. Peace.

What am seeing in this comment section made me to believe firmly that the cord that binds us together as Nigerias and as human beings is really unbreakable, despite the seed of discord being sown by the political elites. I pray that the love that is radiating here will reflect on our daily engagements with each. Sir warrior may you continue to Rest In Peace

This music reminds me of home whenever i spin it, also it reminds me when i tied cloth back 1986( iwa-akwa) in Obowo. But here in Houston Texas it sounds good and reminds me that home is the best.

AJ Rocking Shocking Williams++ The singer is perplexed as to what has become of the wold, so he wonders as to how heaven could be reached in light of the injustice, criminality, man's inhumanity to man, greed, etc that are rampant on earth. That is the summary of the song.

Growing up in Jos, the FM 90.5 played highlife music every sunday from about 12 noon. Coming back from church, the igbo dominated highlife music serenaded the house and gave us that relaxed feeling. Great song, always takes me back to those days
