@darkchocolate33904 жыл бұрын
What were you in jail for? How long? When did you get out?
@shootthemoon95494 жыл бұрын
Well actually it was Juvie. I was 15 and on probation for having a knife at school, they call a knife a weapon but I call it a tool, many uses for a knife besides stabbing a person. This was just after the Columbine school shooting so all the schools were being ridiculous, I got expelled and they got the cops involved. So while on probation my brother starts growing marijuana in my room, I told him he can't grow plants in my room cuz I'm on probation. So he did take the plants out but ended up bringing them back. So one night I'm kickin back about to watch some WWF and there's a knock on the door, I look thru the peep hole and see one person I didn't recognize but when I open the door there's my probation officer and a team there for a random search. I spent a week locked up and missed that game, the next year was the tuck rule game and the next year was the blowout superbowl loss to our own damn coach. It's been a rough 20 years as a Raiders fan.

And no flag for roughing the passer!.. For all of the Raider haters out there lying and attempting to convince yourselves it was a good hit or deserved.... you are wrong. Good sportsmanship and honor is something everyone should have no matter what sport. Rivalries and competition make the sport great. I like to see the Chiefs, Broncos, Chargers lose but fair and square is only way to go.
@mr.medley89386 жыл бұрын
I'm not gonna disagree with you but this is like the pot calling the kettle black here. The Raiders, especially the Oakland Raiders aren't exactly known for their sportsmanship. Siragusa was a fat dirty player, period but I'd say what goes around, comes around.

People complaining about this forget that it's the RAIDERS we're talking about here. They did stuff like this for a LONG time, especially in the 70s. I personally have no problem with it, I'm just sick of the hypocrisy.

Twenty year difference from when those games were played, atkins and tatum (raiders from the 70s) had already forced the NFL change the rules at this point l, but still I am a defensive lineman when I played and I threw many of punches and slapped ear holes,l and elbowed the bo of helmets when doing the rip maneuver, then again most the o linemen I played against were known for thumb tacs on the finger tips of gloves so I was just getting pay bk in my eyes...

Ball gone, this guy keeps going (he knew the ball was gone because he was the one going for the block) until eventually, yeah, he trips over gannon. Then proceeds to drive his full body weight into the qb which you can avoid if you mean to (99% of all plays).. but sure..he 'fell'...
@PaulDePace6 жыл бұрын
One of the dirtiest plays, in a critical situation, in the history of the NFL. Those "pancake", intentional full-weight tackles, dropping down on a defenseless QB is the reason why the new 'roughing the passer rule' was finally put in place. Siragusa should have been instantly kicked out of the game, Instead, the game was over before it got started. And, by the way, all that crap from players about "we can't pull up" re. helmet-to-helmet? That is a bunch of BS too. There is no place for that stuff in today's game.
@Nhamp20006 жыл бұрын
Yup. Dead on.
@IronMan507806 жыл бұрын
Most players cant pull up if they are coming around the edge. A guy is moving full speed to beat his man and then has to immediately slow down before he hits the QB. Depending on where the rusher is coming from its nearly impossible. This hit was dirty as he took a few steps toward gannon after the throw but these new rules hurt the game more than help it.
