Would you ever think of doing a full tutorial on these projects? Like, how to get the dependencies, what programs to use, etc. For us newbs looking for a place to start.
@Icipiracy8 жыл бұрын
Yes, there seems to be some missing information on what to include in 'config'.
@ch63398 жыл бұрын
Here you will find the config file : github.com/ryankiros/neural-storyteller and you must also install the models namd in the readme of that project : github.com/ryankiros/skip-thoughts But I can't make it work there are too many issues with python 3 and python 2 compatibility, if someone manages to work it out I would be glad to know how
@SirajRaval8 жыл бұрын
thanks for this feedback, i've updated the repo to include the config.py file

Conn I think that's a great idea. I want to make compelling content that isn't boring so i try to stay as close to the 5 minute mark as possible, but i think that there is a need to make more in-depth ML education videos. I'm thinking my next series will be something like that after i finish this one
@LuvFPS8 жыл бұрын
I watched almost all of the videos about Neural Networks on your channel. And you're really the only one explaining it in a fun and easy manner.
@SirajRaval8 жыл бұрын
thanks so much, i'm going to keep doing it
@LuvFPS8 жыл бұрын
Yup, you need to keep doing it! Like i'm only 15 but getting to know these kinds of technologys and experimenting with them is really fun to do. I also like the fact that it's written in python wich is a pretty easy language to start with. Cause i bet in C or C++ it would be a LOT harder to do. Well, keep up the good work!
@SirajRaval8 жыл бұрын
So young! I'm very impressed. you are the future!! Keep at it!! The first truly intelligent machine is the last invention man will ever have to make.
@LuvFPS8 жыл бұрын
Yes, i'll keep programming for sure. The biggest problem i always face is what to program. I always need to find challanges to keep me interested. I think Neural nets are a good challenge. Sorry for my bad English, i'm from Belgium.

Siraj I really loved both the style and subjects of your videos, but I think it could be better if you could lengthen the videos a little bit more and explain the concepts a little bit deeper. At first I suspected if I forgot the video speed at x1.5 or something and I had to pause a couple of times both to catch the funny images and the concepts :) Thank you soo much, really appreciate your effort !

Hey Siraj, what kind of machine learning algorithm models exists for sports analysis
@SirajRaval8 жыл бұрын
i'd imagine a lot of computer vision. like trying to understand if a play was valid. the program would take a replay video as input then segment it, recognize the objects, and perhaps calculate distances between recognized objects across a vector space. a deep convolutional neural net should do be helpful

Perhaps this is the difference between innovator and entrepreneur. This Einstein, greatest mind but not Rich. Guido van Rossum creator of python is probably not as famous as the language itself. Brendan Eich inventor of Javscript not the richest guy, infact was fired from Mozila for making a $1000 donation, recently. Steve Wozniak the brains behind first Macintosh didn't become Steve Jobs. Entrepreneur take and idea and monetise while innovators love to innovate for life. Siraj you are great ! Keep making those lovely videos.

Download python, still clueless. I don't know shit about coding. That's a skill best left to computer nerds. Sorry, simply put it on, have no damned clue what it even does, let alone how to interpret any of it, not even the basic home page. Curiosity, it ate the Cat's Christmas gift Microsoft computer. Wonder who hacked into it and saw my weird research into simple earth history, including religious histories. Naturally, that computer brought me very interesting web pages, I left them open for later reading. I just read, I love academia!
