I miss those old days when Onew was so cheerful and being extrovert~ it might look kinda strange to those whom get to know them in recent years, but actually during the early years of SHINee, he was a very cheerful, talkative and always in variety shows.. as time goes, maybe because now they're mature guys, he seems like tone down a lot while we can see how Taemin whom used known with being very shy, quiet and introvert, slowly change (especially when all his hyung in military) and now he is very talkative, being the one that always tease others..

Shinee is basically a party starter on stage. They may seem hesitating at first but they're the one who's having fun, dance and sing along with/when other artists are performing.

I think you're completely right about the Japanese interview, they must have been out of it from lack of sleep. One of the things Key said on one of the Korean varieties before he enlisted was that he was looking forward to more than 4 hours sleep a night which he hadn't had since debut, and was hoping for a more regulated schedule. Taemin has said on record he used to practise with EXO's Kai and on his own over night in the dancing studios at SM. They literally mention at the end of the SW4 concert dvd cut when they leave the stage, that shawol should not be worried about missing them even tho it was the last of the three Seoul concerts, because once they had left ALL OF THEM were going to Jonghyun's Blue Night because it was also the day their new album (which they had shown 4 or 5 songs for - it was Odd, with View as title) was going to drop. Onew is really funny and great at variety shows. Hosts/casts always mention how funny he is and good at it and always makes members laugh. Especially back in the day. He’s starting to get back to his funny, savage self. He was pretty entertaining on March of Ants from last year. He’s always been chaotic too, only if you look into it, you’ll see. Same with his sexiness, it’s there just need to look past all that cuteness and beautiful smile. Him and Jonghyun were literally dumb and dumber vibes, they always clowned around and got each other’s humor. I really recommend SHINee SNL skits! Actually about the “better seats at concert thing”.. SHINee Concerts in Japan and Korea only have one rate on tickets... where you seat -near or far is all random.. like lottery... so Taemin’s statement was more on luck. 😅😅

Onew at the end was just being himself😂 His randomness back then even developed a name which was Onew Condition. There are a lot of videos (usually old) of that side of him, but SHINee & shawols don't use that name anymore. If you come across older groups and there is a member who seems to do random things suddenly, fans would nickname their actions as 4D

Onew is usually quiet & calm but back in their early career as the leader he was the representative of the group. He was good with variety shows and often appear on popular variety show. If u watch their old videos it mostly jinki and jonghyun who talks in interview but it was jinki mostly in variety show. But i think as each of the members able to carry themselves well he let the members shine & just being his quiet self.

Honestly Onew is just the quiet type (plus he took a while to readjust to idol life after the army), but he's hilarious when he's not trying to be perfect. The recent "Rolling Dance Dice" video the SHINee acc uploaded during his solo promos is a perfect example of him just being a funny riot xD

If the lasic possibly blinded you it could be a cataract as I have the same issue - when I went to laser my eyebrows & the chick hit my eyeball & trauma to the eyeball can cause cataracts (like lasers, blows to the eyes in boxing or rugby, or a car accident, etc.). So you should get tested as new lenses could fix it for you - would highly recommend you get tested!
