"Alone" I think is a prime example of Sistar being able to portray sexy in a way that looks classy and expensive, the way to exude sexy without being trashy and uncomfortable. That leg drag is ICONIC. And the rapper you called pretty in "Alone" is Bora. The one you thought was her in "I Like that" is Soyou, the lead vocalist.

The one and only queen of summer SISTAR. Till now theres no group can take or inherite their title. After their disbandement, their company is shaking alot, cause sistar was the most and still successful group they ever made. I Like That is my all time favourite of Sistar's too!!!! Sistar's crowned and known as the Queens of Summer, popular summer songs of theirs that Id vouch for would be I Swear, Shake It and Touch My Body. Give It To Me and So Cool are pretty popular songs too, Push Push is not as known but is also a bop! The tannest girl, Hyorin, has a solo album Love & Hate that consists of a number of songs that I really like, namely Lonely (title track), One Way Love, Stalker and Red Lipstick. Soyou, also one of the main vocals for Sistar, has an extremely well known sung along with Junggigo named Some, huge vouch for this song too. There's only a subunit for Sistar being Sistar19, theyre known for Ma Boy and Gone Not Around Any Longer, vouch for Ma Boy though!! Sistar doesnt have any cute concepts from what I remember, all of their concepts are very woman-ly 🥰

Double Side Kick produced Alone and a lot of my favorite KPOP tracks. The snare and the tom tom beat during the rap are daebak. Also that leg dance is like mind blowing all on its own. Alone really took their popularity to the next level.

There used to be a stereotype where the one who is the most visual, is the rapper... because they were literally there to be good looking... and you'll find that they were originally training to be an actress/actor or model. Of course this has changed and isn't always true... there was a similar stereotype going the other way where if they weren't considered good looking, then they must be more talented... because "how else would they be an idol"

The "visual" is Yoon Bora, and she's a good friend with Kim Hyoyeon. They are both 31 now! Bora and Dasom, as far as I know, are not singing now. But SoYou is releasing good songs as a solo... her last one was "Gotta go" 6 months ago, which has a spanish vibe. Something I really love (and miss to see) about SISTAR is that in almost all of their videos they're just having fun, and showing that they really are like sistars/bestfriends. This kind of unity stays even when they got apart, when Hyolyn and Soyou got their solos they made clips dancing together, like 'still in touch' I love to see that all those years in the group made them like family, and the friendship it's still going. This kind of reactions to them make me emotional, because I miss them so so much. Still #STAR1 🥺❤
