To me what made this boss fight work is the build up to the fight cause you knew right from the beginning Kree was bad news and threw out the whole game he just orders Jak around clearing out turrets and metal heads in the sewers and the players already thinking “okay what is this fat turd up to I don’t trust this guy one second” then when it’s revealed he build a bomb to crack open the precursor Stone your like “I knew it” it’s so satisfying to blow Krew to bits and give that fat bastard what he deserves

Best stategy for this fight: Scatter Gun

Tsk tsk tsk, best strategy for any fight is blaster, and then you: jump+spin+shoot. it was kinda strong in jak 2, but in jak 3 it is just the ultimate thing(because of the ricocheting bullets)

Scatter gun is way better for wide range damage. Just let them pile up close together and hit the all in one shot. Easier to take them out. After that, you can use the Blaster Mod to take on Crew himself.

Despite the fact that this game uses basically the same beat for all the boss themes they all manage to stand out, but this one in particular is a favourite of mine since the "dun dun" bit is so much heavier than other versions, makes sense for Krew I guess

If you think about it too since the Guns (except the Vulcan Fury) shoot bullets, wouldn't they technically be reduced damaged since they don't penetrate. Also a monster from the game "The Suffering: Ties That Bind" that has guns coming out of it abdomen and chest cavity.
