@majorafan09 they ARE dead. The naughty dog that praise and love is long dead. People forget is a TEAM who makes those amazing games, not the company. The team who made Jak and Dexter ? Gone. The team who made uncharted 1-4? Gone. The team who made last of us 2013 original? Gone. Everyone is gone. Naughty dog died with the release of last of us 2. They were more interested in California gender politics and Star wars style SUbVeRTinGEXpEctATioNs than actually good storytelling they were good for. Why? Because those teams left and they hired new age asexual robots from outer space. Look at gaming today. It's dead. Since elden ring and maybe re4 there hasn't come out a single worthwhile game. Sony has 0 exclusives coming in 2024. Xbox transitioned from a console manufacturer to a Netflix style service. PS5 is at the end of its lifecycle. Sony is already making Ps6. While we had maybe 2 good exclusives for PS5. Sony is dead. Xbox is dead. PS5 is dead. Gaming is largely dead. If you say otherwise, look back at the golden age, PS2 era and see how many legendary games came out left and right vs today.

even though Jak 2 was a good game i was initially disappointed when i first played it at how different it was to the precursor legacy

Josh Field i actually revived it quite well. I thought it was kinda cool that jak had sort of “grown”.

This was the first 3d game I ever played. I was six when I first got a ps2 and played this, and I spent a long time in the first level, the prison within the fortress because I was scared of getting electrocuted by the krimzon guard.

What do you expect. This game is like the future. Players meet Jak as a kid there and it's up to the adult Jak to stop Baron and Kor together with Daxter.
