It is finally Q&A time as I close in on 2K Subscribers. I've taken the liberty to ask myself a few questions for this first one. 🙂 This is a book-centric one but I will be doing a Movie/TV adaptation Q&A soon to cover that side of things. If you have any questions you'd like to ask for future Q&A videos (these are fun to do actually) then comment below and I will start compiling them for a future video. As for the Movie/TV side I am doing review/discussion videos for this new season of The Mandalorian. You can find what will be a growing Star Wars playlist for those here: 🎬kzbin.info/aero/PLFrv8sTZY1rmyY74BE4va_yUCtK-_Ddx4

I keep coming across Malazan, so I sort of feel at this point like it's calling to me. The trouble is, the reviews on Audible are not great, at least for the first several books, most of them saying it's really hard to follow. I've been through Wheel of Time, Ice and Fire, and Stormlight Archive so I'm no fledgeling when it comes to sprawling epics, but I had the reassurances of good reviews getting me through those.

Malazan is a lot to take in. And Gardens of the Moon throws you right into the deep end. I first tried to read Gardens a long time ago but it just didn't click with me. However, I came back to it after finally finishing Wheel of Time. This time, for whatever reason, it clicked with me right away. I will say there's a group of characters you're introduced to in book 1 that are my favorite group of characters still, as many books as I'm in now.
