Please could you let me know how much of the Primrose is used in the blanket in total. Primrose was missing in my yarn kit, substituted with another ball of Lemon! I have a random used ball of yellow (no label) in my stash with 75g remaining. I think it’s probably Sirdar Bonus DK as that’s my favourite go to wool. Thanks for your help. Mandy

I've never been able to follow a chevron pattern. But you've made it straightforward. Thank you

Am loving the panels for Week 2 and am nearly completed so It will be a long wait for Week 3☺ but if possible, could you bring the camera a little closer and down towards the piece you are demonstrating? Thanks☺

Really enjoyed week one. I'm not great with chevrons but I'm sure I will be fine with the tutorial to support me if I need it x

You have a great voice and, if you don't mind, you so resemble princess Catherine princess of Wales. Great pattern really excited. Thank you.

Thanks again for a great tutorial. I do wonder why, when you’re securing your tail ends, you don’t simply use the crochet hook to latch in and weave it through?

Could you possibly tell me how many chains you used for your short example please?

Would be really helpful if you would bring the camera closer to your work, so we can see the stitching better.

I'm loving this blanket so far and the videos are super helpful. I'm a bit confused with the double crochet though. I thought a stitch with no yarn over to begin with was called a single crochet? I'm not an experienced crocheter so any comments would be helpful 😁

The pattern is made using UK terms whereas what you've described is in US terms. UK double crochet = US single crochet UK half treble = US half double crochet UK treble = US double crochet. Hope that helps

Crochet has mainly 2 different "languages" US or UK. They are the same stitches but with different names. Any good pattern will start by telling you which terminology they are using. This CAL, in the first video and written instructions, says it's using UK terms. The designer has handily in the notes section also listed the US equivalent names next to the UK name. So the stitch you are describing is known as a double in UK terminology but in US terminology it is known as a single. There are lots of conversion charts on the internet for those more familiar with one set of terms over the other if they are attempting a pattern in their less familiar terms. Hope this helps 😊😊
