See, what we need to remember is that scale comes with the license. That is why McFarlane got so much hate over his Superpowers interpretation. His license could not copy exactly what was already dones, specifically with scale. So, if one company does 1/12... then another company can't do another 1/12 but they can do the same figure in 1/9, It is all crazy toy politics and it blows.

Sure but it's not like there aren't a bunch of 1/12 scale Batmans currently on the market. I think Mafex, S.h. and Mezco are roughly 1/12 scale give or take. It seems scale can be an annoying thing to deal with both for the consumers and companies though themselves.

That’s not how it works in general. In some cases it does depending on what exclusivity is on the license, and will often come down to what market they are aimed at. Mafex and shf can do 1/12 scale figures as they are for the Japanese market for example. It’s certainly not a blanket “we made 1/10 scale so you can’t rule.

Indeed. Fondjoy might have a few qc issues because they're mostly new but their movie figures are much better than the ones McF offers. The fact that they actually came up with 2 versions of Batfleck that actually look like the actor unlike McF(Their BvS Batman was a joke). Not to mention the Knightmare/Armored Batman Collectors edition 2 pack that goes for $150 on Ebay(I can't wait for these versions from Fondjoy because they will be much better and cost way less too). Also they have a few prototypes that they've shown including Dark Knight figures(I'm hoping that they get released in 2025).

@@stupid_shark. I mean I don't hate McF(some of their figures are ok). The problem is mostly their movie figures because when they're not crap that doesn't resemble the actor like their BvS Batman then they are hard to find and go for insane prices on Ebay like the Dark Kngiht Trilogy figures and Batman 89 all because McFarlane has some sick 'collecting game' fetish that makes it hard for actual collectors to get the figures that they want.

Nice review, I have both of these figures and I have not experienced issues swapping out hands and such. Some of the articulation could be better, but mine just get posed and sit on the shelf until the next rearrangement haha.

I have both these figures. The BatFleck is a work of art, no complaints. The Battinson.... less so. The first time i ordered, one of the legs continued to pop out of socket anytime i moved it. When I had Amazon send me a replacement figure, that one had weak ankles just like yours. I'm not impressed with how creaky and hard to move the head is and how the joints are too loose. I would give the BVS BATFLECK an A and the Battinson gets a C+ .

Nice reviews! Pattinson fig is good, but something feels off to me. Batfleck fig is amazing to me, I only miss some wash on it or a little more definition in the muscles. You're the first I see that got a Fondjoy broken. Still not your fault, but probably only a QC issue on your specific figure. Regarding your initial question: Favorite Batman: Ben Affleck Favorite DC film: fluctuates between BVS and ZSJL Favorite Batman film: tough one, BVS to me is more of a Superman film, so it'd be between Returns (nostalgia), TDK (best "film", but I feel it's too different to what I expect Batman to be) and The Batman (nice balance overall, just not sold on Pattinson's interpretation) I'm open to see whatever DCU gives us with Batman (as long as Gunn doesn't direct it himself lol).

Got these for $25-30 each. They are sold for about $20 in China. You should have gotten the most recent release, the Justic League Batman, an upgraded version of the BvS one. Definitely worth the $27 bucks and better than the McFarlane figures. The Battinson version is being sold for $23.50 on the Chinese version of Amazon right now, $24.50 after tax and free shipping. So even with all it's flaws, that's still a great price for the figure.

This EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME! But it was with a bootleg Mafex Venom from AliExpress…. And they do not send you anything to Alé up for it. Matter of fact I purchased and received a bootleg Yamaguchi Spider-Man figure… and it broke in half at the torso. The eyes have puncture holes… the black paint that was supposed to be in the webs is smeared all over the head, arms back and legs…. It looks like Spidey got his ass kicked…. But I’m shocked that an actual toy company don’t remedy that by sending you a set of new hands. But this video helps a lot.

I have both. Batfleck I have no problems the battinsonn though I have a few issues, The face plate, the neck articulation, the leg articulation (i was planning on displaying it with the mcfarlane batcycle), the clear aockets on the leg, the right ankle and the right ahoulder plate came off while I was playing with it that I had to glue it in. Good thing battinson looks good standing. I'm still excited for their other release like the knightmare Batman.

Nice review bro You should try the newest Fondjoy Batfleck from JL.I already got one and it’s looks and feels so good overall except accessories.The looks,the articulation and the quality are great and I’m trying to complete Zack Snyder JL by mixing Fondjoy Batfleck with McFarlane figs because Fondjoy figs scales well with McFarlane.

Hey Jared, sorry to hear you had issues with the FondJoy figures. I own the BVS and JL Batman. I never came across any issues with them. The proportions in the JL Batman is even better. The likeness is fantastic and I am extremely pleased to add these to my collection. I love how BVS Batman scales with the McFarlane figures as their Batman is a little too small. BVS is indeed my favorite comic movie as well and yes Ben is the GOAT!

You're right about Ben Afflec being the best Batman though, he plays both Bruce and Batman perfectly and I wish we got to see him do more in that role. Dunno if this is a hot take but Anne Hathaway is my favourite Catwoman, I'd love to see the two of them in a film together.

I got the Battinson and it’s one of the most disappointing figures I’ve ever had. I was very gentle with it and just hat it standing on my shelf, the next day I pick it up and move the arms and they broke off.

Easily W, 10x better accessories, articulation and sculpt and cost nearly the same as a McFarlane Collector's Edition figure which is mid compared to Fondjoys. I'd rather DC just give license to Fondjoy over McFarlane.
